My biggest reservation about the removal of scanlated works is Doujins (which is a significant portion of my reading). Unfortunately there won't be any place in the new world for these things.???
I still want my doujins in English. Make it happen. Please.
It's not like doujinshi translations will stop.
Right click on the picture, then "see image" (depending on your browser's options).
The adress bar has the source of the pictures.

I understand why you're doing what you are. The artists will benefit greatly, although they are destroying the thing that made them known to begin with. Still, it feels like the community got strung along for years, only to be flipped the bird at the end. I guess growth means forgetting where you came from, and who made you.
It's the nature of these things.
It's not like Fakku was that great to begin with.
Honestly this is a good thing because not much is lost, in fact there is a lot to gain here.
There were and are still far better sites with much more free content, and if they started deleting their stuff to become legit then it would be a REAL loss.

Fakku is mostly full of casuals when talking about VNs, hongfire is a "better" place to discuss eroge.its the sad truth really. No one I know here is really into vns. I have played more then anyone I know.
That said I would be happy to discuss visual novels and eroge.
Starless getting translated should be interesting. Being an Empress game its full of clear and sometimes brutal femdom. Im quite curious to see what they are saying.
There are far too many that need translation
Starless is already in my huge eroge backlog.

Her teammate, right? Are the scenes like Asagi and KS?Nope, even better, her mother.
And yeah the scenes are quite good but it focuses more on Yukikaze, so you might end not being very interested.
Though the scenario and story teling are good.
I'll still check it from time to time since I like a lot of Lilith stories. The scenario is what interests me the most.
It's kinda faithful to the game and it appears it will also adapt the novel.

It makes sense for Lilith games lol, that's part of their fame. Although I'm glad the turning to stone and robot thing aren't in the manga so I treat it as the canon scenario lol. Unless the stone and robot are canon... Oh, I was talking about the Asagi 3 manga. It's pretty tame.
I'm also glad how the KS3 manga ended.
Haven't bothered with Yukikaze lol, it's all about the breasts for me lol.
Well, in the newest chapters Shiranui has already appeared...

Asagi 3's story was being published in Megami Crisis until they changed its name to Heroine Pinch IIRC, and the series continued in the second volume of HP. But the manga adaptation is kinda lame to be honest, but to be fair the game itself is very big to just summarize it in a single manga series. There's also a manga adaptation of Kangoku Senkan 3 made by Kusonoki Rin, and it's pretty good.
At least they tried lol, I really do like how they're trying to bring out hentai games into manga since they go in a bit more detail. I have seen the KS3 one, one of my faves too!
YEah but to be honest I would have liked a more extreme and hardcore scenario for the manga, but anyway, there's also a Taimanin Yukikaze manga series going on in Heroine Pinch, so far there are 5 chapters translated I think.

Sometimes H-animation is just terrible.
I watch them just to know what voices they put in them, and ocassionally find some really good gems but overall I don't think it will be as great as manga.

I started reading that anthology because of that new Inyouchuu Shoku series which caught me by surprise and made me wait for the rest of the releases and for Taimanin Yukikaze.
Also was hoping for the continuation of Taimanin Asagi 3 and Annerose, but they showed up in the second volume along with the new Kuroinu series and Beat Angel Escalayer.

You mean the stories from the Heroine Pinch anthologies? Yeah they are pretty rad.
There are still two chapters unstranslated from Heroine Pinch 14 and 16 respectively.

That's really really great and all, but my beef with FAKKU is that the site is turning pretty much into a very known legal paysite that caters to its payers more than to its non-subscribers. And that the "more controversial "Doujins are all but extinguished from here. That irks me.FAKKU back then had pretty much all options open for everyone.
I understand that it all had to be done for FAKKU to survive. But for everyone that has loved the more free FAKKU back then, it just looks like Jacob has sold us out big time, just for more moolah.
If a really hardcore loli/guro doujin is uploaded, well then (for those that love those stuff) yay~. It's uploaded and for everyone to see.
If a really disturbing NTR doujin appeared, well then yay~. It's uploaded for everyone to see.
If an uncensored doujin appears, or that a censored doujin is decensored, well then yay~. It's uploaded for everyone to see.
Now, pretty much anything "offending" is removed from the site, or is never even uploaded here at all. Even the decensored ones that are done by scanlators are never uploaded here. Not to mention a few doujins that are updated for better quality are never re-uploaded here.
Fakku wasn't a good site for free content for years: Lack of content, tags, artists, info, etc.
However it's a good alternative for people who want legit content. I'm not fully supporting it completely however if they are still uploading unlicensed content. And I don't think I'll be doing it anytime soon unless someone big comes, and I'm sure it'll happen probably by the very end of this year.
