I'm talking about the users, some have taken years to violate enough rules to be perma banned.

This matter has been resolved.

Every situation is different, for some it took years and others less than a week.

Sorry, that's not information I feel comfortable giving. I don't mind talking about most of the inner workings of the forums but my recommendations for staff should remain secret.

In general I follow my own rules. I've only invented one rule which benefited me but to be honest that rule should have existed from the get.

We don't talk to the users enough, we aren't as transparent as we should be. There is a disconnect between the users and the staff for the most part and I wish it didn't exist.

I don't know if Jake is looking to hire anyone new, but I think we need someone. We do have a large number of global mods now but some section mods should be in training now.

A lot of the staff was here but Silent; guys like Teclo, Raze, Matt, etc... We lost many and new people joined. Part of our issue is we as a staff lack communication with our user base. There are exceptions to that rule: Tegumi is fairly vocal in SD, Gambler enjoys sending pm's to many users, Kaimax is attentive to multiple sections, and I do my part as well. I do wish the others spoke up sometimes.



I always keep a short list of users I think would make good mods but I only use those as recommendations for Jake. Most of the time he tells me who he's considering and I tell him what I know about the person. He has wanted to hire quite a few people who I advised against which he took seriously and looked elsewhere.

Hard to say, there are more issues now but I don't think it's due to the staff being who they are, the more likely conclusion is that the larger population leads to more problems. We have about the same amount of staff as we did back then but our population has grown by very large percentage. I do look forward to new staff members to help us out, hopefully.

And unhappy users in the feedback section, and trolls, and IB trash, and drama(which I'm not involved in). Before I was made staff Fakku had fewer mods who dealt with the underbelly of the forums.

I would consider him a real friend, even though we met through Fakku. I think he knows I serve a purpose.

Effort is the only thing that holds me back, getting 3d ass is a lot harder.

Perhaps, but it's been more than a year that I've been working here. I also know that he's received many e-mail calling for my head, and I'm still working here.

For the most part, he hasnt threatened to fire me at any point and I don't want to kill myself due to boredom on Fakku, so far so good so to speak.

Hah, while I don't want to be hated, people's opinions of me don't carry much weight. It's too hard to please everyone while still doing my job properly. I try to find a balance between the way I want to be and the way Jacob wants me to be.

You still have your moments slayer... try to keep getting better.

I have a "job" here, a job which doesn't allow me to say everything I want to say.
