While there is no limit to the amount a user can reply in a thread we do discourage double posting. It's personal preference and good advice but still only advice nonetheless. Ignore it if you don't want to hear it but the way you're posting will annoy users if it's done consistently. It's more suited for IB or the chat section rather than the specific interest forums.

a long time ago, i vaugely remember* voting on a poll in the thread itself, and then as i was skimming the comments, i saw a post i had made some time before. i don't think i would have commented with out voting, but i have no proof, only the lingering shadows in the dregs of my drug addled mind.
