What? The vagueness of the rules is to allow IB to be that way, it's a place for people to get wild and unload. I think it's serving it's purpose now. It used to be quite a bit like Random but now it's an entirely new board with it's on cultures and sub cultures.

"Insults, harassment, flaming, trolling, baiting or other similar abusive behavior towards other members of the Forum will not be tolerated." doesn't apply in IB, so of course random people will admit no one obeys that list of rules.

While we ensure people don't go overboard I've been told under no uncertain terms that IB should be left to it's own devices. If you want to suggest a warning thread be stickied in IB then make a thread in feedback to discuss it but we aren't adding rules when IB fits the current wishes of the staff.

It's ambiguous for a reason. If we gave specific rules it would allow some users to push and abuse those rules. For example if we had something that said "we allow trolling in IB" there would be no limit in place and some could retreat into the excuse of "the rules don't say I can't" when going overboard. The ambiguity is a way for us to still keep some order mixed in with the chaos.

The rest of Imp's post seems to be complaining about IB, how it's now filled with flaming and trolling. I don't think that has anything to do with the ambiguity of the rules.

edit: final note, I didn't have the rules changed, I was just a section mod at the time and had no control over the rules thread.

Yeah, saying nigga is less of a problem so we don't jump on it but as you know it's all down to whatever a mod feels at the time. I probably wont ask someone not to. "er" is differently against our rules and it's not something I'm suppose to let slide.

It's a terrible show and those that like it are equally terrible. The manga has some redeeming qualities but not many.

That "special consideration" is us allowing people to get a bit crazy in IB. I still warn people when I see racism, I still punish those that post guro. We just believe the people who sign up for Fakku should be adults and thus are able to deal with minor insults and harassment. When someone pushes too far we act and we have banned users for harassment in IB before(in severe cases). This is all down to our judgement, saying "too long didn't read" or "I could care less/don't give a fuck" is not harassment in my opinion and thus would not get a second glance.

I want to clarify something; if you see harassment outside of IB report it, we can't be everywhere at once, we don't read every post made. If this is an issue you believe in then it's your duty to help, just as it's our duty to act.

Freak, don't use that word, if I catch people using it in IB I warn them. If they keep using it in IB they see a short ban; pretty simple,
