The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
0
Haruhi Suzumiya is a great anime with pure insanity. Now, she's a girl that's only interested in anything that's extra terrestrial like aliens, time travelers and espers. In her new school, she made a new club (SOS Brigade) that investigates mysteries. But the problem is there aren't any mysteries in the school to solve! And as she gets a little bored of life, things around her starts to spark up as there are a few members to join. Little does she knows that they aren't humans!
Aya Hirano who voiced Haruhi is great. There's an episode where Haruhi went up on stage and sang. That was totally marvelous.

I really do not see how a second season would run. Doesn't Keon tell her about the rest of the group at the end of the first season?

nonono, i think kyon only told her when she was about to recreate the universe again but she attributed that to a dream.
but speaking of which, the episode where she sang, SOO good. i gotta say aya hirano is pretty talented.

Absolutely worth it. And besides, at 14 episodes, it won't even take long to watch all of it. :D

And, to completly honest, you only have to watch the first 6 episodes (chronological/DVD order, the core the Melancoly Book).

Sure. If you're a communist maybe.
That's like saying you only have to eat the hotdog without the bun, or the pie without the crust. The other ingredients add depth and flavor, not to mention character development and island antics.
Wait, are we still talking about food?
Nevermind. My point is thus: The main story, yes, is summed up chronologically in the first six episodes. However, it's so much more fulfilling to watch all 14 in the order in which they were designated by the creators.
Plus, if you decide to only watch the first six, you miss out of guitar and ROKK. Also: Bunny Suits.
Do yourself a favor, and watch all 14. Or else.
