Mobile Suit Gundam AGE

According to CoroCoro Comic, the new Gundam TV series "Gundam AGE" was announced to be aired from October.

Story:
It's been a few hundreds of years since humans began to live on space colonies. In A.G. 101, an unknown enemy (UE) "GAFRAN" suddenly attacked one of the colonies "Angel". A long war against UE has begun. In A.G 108, a seven year old boy Flit Asuno lost his mother when UE attacked his colony "Ovan". His mother left him a memory unit "AGE". It stored data of an ancient mobile suit Gundam. In A.G. 114, Flit completes the Gundam AGE and counterattacks against GAFRANs.

Tomino has been retired for many years already. He hasn't had any relations with the franchise for the last several years now.

Is it gonna be that Beginning Gundam? I've been hearing about that and seen some of HG kits already released with some anime screenshots. I'm guessing it'll be that. From the looks of the main Gundam, I though wow, about RX78 look-alike? LOLOLOLOL (not much of a fan of UC era)

Any other predictions or thoughts?

Well since their still doing a series involving the UC timeline I wouldn't be surprised if this is another spin off. Then again they did just finish up with 00. Maybe it's to soon for another spin off. In either case I'm hoping it'll be a 12-13 episode series.

I don't imagine it will be any length shorter than 2 cours if it's a TV series. This is Gundam we're talking about.

Wasn't there supposed to be another title in the works about the UC timeline too or is this going to be "It"?

hope the new series won't take too many similar ideas from previous series.

Hope this new gundam are able to create the atmosphere where both sides of the group is evil and yet also righteous like EFSF and Zeon.

I think they should do the entire story of the SRX team indepth for SRW OG. The R series are pretty much gundams.

SRW OG =/= SUNRISE

Since they've been doing the unicorn Gundam OVA w/c happened after the events of Char's counter attack, I hope this new Gundam series will follow up after the events of Victory Gundam to G-Savior's time line, but since Tomino hates Victory(w/c is my favorite), there might be 0% chance, but I'm still hoping. Perhaps it's the sequel to Unicorn that will the gap until Victory Gundam's time-line??

Perhaps the new Gundam series may not be set on universal century, but a completely different universe like Gundam G, W and X.

But doesn't Sunrise make the OG animes?

Isn't the whole gundam series all played out.. i love the original to 00, but how many different story must be played before this i over. is this a cash plot by sunrise to make more money beating a dead house or can we just let the gundam's chill for a while until a master like genius story can be maded.

I only watched 00 because it was a sidestory with no relationship to the original plot and timeline. If the new show is not a side story, well... I will have long time to catch up
