Amagami SS

I thought that it flowed very well, and the last episode also made sure to include a healthy dosage of the rest of the gang, (Haruka's appearance, especially). I also really enjoyed Umehara's segment, (with hism overcoming his past and not living his life with regrets). Those words definitely helped Junichi with his relationship with Tsukasa, and it was just good advice in general.

I also thought that the sequence where Junichi expresses his love for Tsukasa, (for both sides of her personality), was also very heartfelt, and I thought that it was perfect for Tsukasa to really wail on Junichi. I was glad to see he fixed his mistake. :)

And the ending sequences was very pretty. I loved it when we saw them as a couple 10 years later, and their daughter got all upset cause she wanted to kiss her dad as well. That was too cute!

There was quite a bit to like in this episode. Seeing Tsukasa do a palm strike into a knee was great, drunk Maya was fun, and then we had a sweet epilogue. I do feel like there were some things missing though. The explanation for Tsukasa's personality is never quite fleshed out, and we never really knew what was going on between her sister and her.

I judged the arcs on criteria like "how the main conflict is developed".

Haruka's arc is the worst because the conflict hits us in the face and is resolved right away with no precursor at all. A couple lines in each episode would've helped that. There were certainly enough scenes with Junichi talking to other girls to do that.

With Kaoru we had a lack of information about her father and her views on her family. Again, a few lines would've helped save this arc from being so low. The conflict didn't come out of nowhere in the last episode, so that's why it's better than Haruka's.

Ai's arc introduced the conflict right away, the problems with her little brother, but wound up resolving it off-screen. Also, we had no idea she was competing for a spot on the swim team, but it wasn't as overly dramatic as in Haruka's arc so it wasn't so bad.

Rihoko's conflict was introduced early and was developed fairly well. However, the romance didn't feel like it concluded properly, and the nature of the characters meant that this arc didn't have much "impact" to it.

Tsukasa's arc I pretty much explained above.

Sae's arc developed both the conflict and the romance at the same time and right from the first episode.

(Gah, losing my train of thought now, but I think I've covered most of what I wanted to say.)

The ending part was really touching, and I liked Ayatsuji with her more mature-looking short hair. The one part I liked most was when Tsukasa and her daughter kissed Junichi, was so cute I thought it was a fitting Christmas-y end with the beautifully-made Christmas tree.

Wow, she does live up to her reputation as a stalker. I am actually amused on how she sabotaged every girl in the series, including the one who stood Tachibana up. Tachibana in this episode is actually quite understanding and goes straight to the point, I like that.

I ;_; when Sae walked away, totally dejected. That was enough to garner all of my hate for Risa. The episode was okay, though watching Risa break the hearts of our favorite heroines was enraging. Sae, Ai, and Karou hit me the hardest. Amagamiguy should of stepped up to the plate and told Risa off, but then again, Risa was the only girl left. He was trapped, hehe.

The worst episode in the series, but it was still entertaining. Must watch Sae, Ai, and Karou's arcs again to negate the major cock blocking Risa implemented here.

Nice rejection plan by her BTW. I find it cute though that Risa would do anything to keep Tachibana for herself.

It wasn't right to her to go around to every girl that Junichi was interested in, and lie to them, but her intentions were so pure and simple that you can't possibly be mad at her for it. It was really amusing to see her going around and show the doctored pictured, though. Sae was definitely the hardest to see. Haruka and Ai didn't really seem that affected, but Tsukasa was pissed.

It was also interesting to learn of what really happened to Junichi 2 years ago, and it was kind of Risa to do that for him, even though it was also cruel at the same time. I thought that it was really admirable of her to go off and apologize to the girls by herself, though. That was respectable, and made me like her even more. I, like some of you, wish that their was more of her as well.

Concerning Risa's involvement with Junichi's heartbreak two years ago, I suppose what she did was the better of the two evils. No matter what happens then, Junichi would still feel like shit. I also found Risa's montage of apologizing to the 6 girls being incorporated in the ending a clever idea.
