Amagami SS

I'm really loving Tsukasa's arc. Like you all have said, Tsukasa's story feels like the "true ending" to Amagami SS for me. Tsukasa herself is also the most interesting character because of her two personalities. The nice and timid girl in front of her peers and the darker domineer personality she only shows to her sister and Junichi. I think I have a growing interest in domineer type girls...
I'm also interested in Tsukasa's sister. So far she only feels like the cliched air head characters, but I hope she has another side or personality or something surprising.

But something I said before this show started was that because of the omnibus format, the last girl would feel like the main heroine. I was starting to be convinced by Kaimax that this wasn't going to be the case, but after seeing two episodes I feel like I was right. Tsukasa seems like the main girl, a cover girl. If this was the VN I would say she was the "true ending" of sorts. Not only because she is put on the cover of game or that she is placed in the center of all the girls during panoramic shots, but because even the personalities of Tsukasa and Junichi seem more natural and believable than any other of the girl's arcs did.
If this wasn't omnibus, it feels like Tsukasa would definitely of been the "chosen girl"
Like I said there's no such thing as a "True Heroine" in Amagami, it's all an illusion created by the animation studio. What if Ai Nanasaki was the last arc, would you think that she's the True Heroine? or if we follow that, then Morishima Haruka doesn't have a chance to be considered as a True heroine, just because her Arc was shown first.
Then again what is the requirement to be a "True Heroine"?
-Being the Cover girl? Then what do you think of Fate/Stay Night then, and do check the cover box of Kimikiss and then compare it to the anime
-The relationship is Natural and believable? In real life there's also unbelievable Love Stories.
In the game, everyone was treated fairly and given the same amount of story and plot. The fault goes to the animation studio by not giving a fair and balanced way of story.
In the end it's all subjectivity. In my Case I would think that Risa Kamizaki is the "True Heroine", because she was involved actively in Junichi's Christmas incident that traumatize him in the first place.
There's no such thing as a True Heroine, unless it was officially stated.
example: Fortune Arterial, has a True ending, that involves Erika Sendo as the True Heroine.
If you still insist, can you explain why the Amagami manga is also in an Omnibus Format?
:D

There is no "true ending". The moment the anime became this onmibus format, it was made apparent. Viewing this from just the anime perspective because I have not played the PS2 VN, unless it was made clear on who the main heroine was which in this case there wasn't, I don't see this so called "true ending" or "true female lead".
Stop thinking that Tsukasa is the main heroine just because her story seems better or because she was on the cover of the game or etc so therefore she must be the main girl. That's a very naive line of thinking especially like Kai said, every girl in Amagami was given the same amount of episodes for their arc. And besides after each arc, it resets to the beginning so... what "true heroine" now huh?

@Kaimax - Well that is my point, it feels like Tsukasa ending is the true ending in the anime. I don't know about the VN, but the anime seems to favor her more if only subtlety. As for the manga, that depends. If each girl's arc came out together, then no. But if they are releasing one girl, then the next, and so on, then yes the last girl would feel like the main heroine especially if it was Tsukasa.
I can tell Tsukasa is the leading girl, and she isn't even my favorite. If Haruka was the last girl, then yes, I think she could at least be considered the main girl (since she is so awesome). But I do feel that because she was the first girl, she didn't get a chance to be considered the "main heroine" - something I felt back when her arc just finished. This is my point though - the Omnibus's only drawback is that the last girl gets an edge. In this case Tsukasa already feels like a main heroine, the fact her arc is last only more solidifies that.
Risa Kamizaki - is she even in the anime? You might be a little more open to the idea that all the girls are equal since you've played the VN, so for you the arcs are just coming out one at a time. But for most people, those who haven't played the VN, the order of the arcs does have some meaning.
It is like that game, hand over hand, where two people race to the top of the baseball bat and whoever is the last person to get their hand on top wins. Tsukasa's arc is last, it will the freshest in everyone's memory, and it is broadcasting during Christmas.

Certainly, I don't think that Keima, the Capturing God, would need to cheat.

I don't know how to feel about these turn of events. I was expecting a sweet and innocent girl. At this point, I'm not sure if Tsukasa is a dominate girl with an innocent side to her, or an innocent girl with a dominate side to her. Is her character going to be dynamic and change, or is her character already established and just not yet revealed? WHO IS THE ENIGMA!?I agree with Twilight, perhaps because she fits no character type, Tsukasa is one of he most believable characters I've seen in a while.
She's a tsundere. It's really that simple. She just has an additional persona on top of the tsuntsun. It's an uncommon character type, but it's been done before.

I don't know about that. She isn't acting or hiding her feelings. She isn't even hiding a nice person inside when talking to Junichi, she just acts the way she naturally is. If anything, she is a deretsun since she acts nice to everyone but is actually a bit mean.

Update 2: According to Neowing, the 25th anime episode, "Sneaking Heroine," will feature Risa Kamizaki. Neowing also states that the 26th anime episode, "Kimagure Wagamama AmaenbÅ," will feature Miya Tachibana.
Update 3: The anime's official website has confirmed that Miya Tachibana's episode will be unaired. It has not confirmed whether Risa Kamizaki's episode will air or not. [Via Livedoor, Uri-Sure Matome R]

What meaning? Once again I said that is an illusion made by the animation studio. If you just try to change your perspective into a balanced horizontal view, it'll be fair and there won't be any "lead heroines". There's no such thing "Save the best for Last" in Amagami.
Once again: What's the requirement to be a Lead Heroine?
-To have the Last Arc in an anime? Tsukasa's Manga was the first to come out.
All of the manga regardless of "who came first" is still ongoing.
All Six of them are Lead Heroines in their own story, it's just happened that people always like "the crazy different one" and always considered that something much more special than the normal ones. Indeed that Tsukasa is the cover girl, the Last Arc, most interesting personality. But that doesn't qualifies her as a "True Heroine", because like I said, everyone is the Main Heroine.
If she was the "True heroine" would she lost a popularity contest?
Spoiler:
She lost because everyone saw the girls in a horizontal view, everyone is treated as the same "True Heroine"
Just to be clear I'm not saying this just because I already played the VN.

Main heroines lose popularity contest all the time. Nagisa wasn't near the level of popularity as Tomoyo or Kyou, and Hayate no Gotoku's Nagi was the least popular.
However, we really don't even need to make this into a debate anymore since you agree with me - Tsukasa having the last arc, being the cover girl, and being the center of all the girls make it appear she is the main heroine. Like you said, it is an
she isn't the offical main heroine, and she isn't better than the rest. But, the omnibus format combined with the different hints in the anime make it seem that way - whether or not it is true or intentional.

I'm watching this show. It's good but not great. I like the whole thing of going over all routes, but none of the characters stand out to me especially not the main character. I'm kind of amused by his moments that he suddenly turns all charming and manly though.
If he were like that all the time I'd be amused more though, but that wouldn't explain why he would be single at that moment, so yeah.

Got Megane?
Hmm seems I missed some interesting chats, and after it all I still have the same views on this last arc as neko-chan does. You all managed to state my reason and such for thinking this way, and since its all my opinion I'll just keep thinking this way, despite knowing that there is no "true heroine".
Oh that scene in the episode with Junichi about to have ecchi daydreams, I found it very funny.

Okay. After dance practice one day:
Boyfriend: Hey, ready to go home? Oh hi girl-who-is-not-neko-chan!"
Not Neko-chan: Hi!
Me: Yeah I'm ready. We were just cooling down.
BF: Oh, sitting inside where the A/C is on?
Not Neko-chan: No not like that, we were like toweling off and stuff, doing stretches, getting water...
BF: Toweling off?
Me: Yeeaahh...
BF: ... Do you... towel... each other of- OUCH!
Basically like that.
