Damn, why wouldn't they make it a full arc? Because they don't have enough "Original" material from the script.
Risa is not one of those secret girls that you'll meet from the first day, after clearing all girls.
Risa is one of those secret girls that won't show herself, until the ending of the whole game.
All of her other appearances and event are exactly as you have seen in the anime, sabotaging other girls. Tsukasa got changed though, since originally she won't believe her lies.

Yandere? I like.If Amagami had an ounce of violence in it, that's the kind of character Risa would be.

I finally had time to watch up till episode 24 since I have been on leave for the past few days.
Personally, I felt that all arcs and endings were equally well-done. Of course, some viewers may feel differently; some heroines did not receive as happily-ever-after endings as compared to others. In my ideal world, everyone will receive happily-ever-after romances, including mine, but unfortunately, such situations do not neccessarily occur in reality and anime. Some viewers may lose interest if all arcs ended the same way.
On another note, Tsukasa's arc confused me a little. At certain points in time, I wondered if she had a split personality, or whether her sister was coming to school in place of her. After all, they do look somewhat similar. On top of that, I was worried if Tsukasa's sister had some sort of problem (psychological); her behaviour seemed rather childish and weird at times.

From a guy who has played the VN
-No, Tsukasa doesn't have split-personality, she's just a GREAT Actor. The anime originality "blurs" this by combining two routes, making people think she has split personlaity.
-No, her sister is as normal as Morishima Haruka, and she's a;ready the most weird and whimsical from all the heroines.

Ok, so I finally watched the last ep. Risa is a nice girl. I like her lots. The single episode was executed nice.
But overall still, Amagami is only so-so. Junichi... ugh. So finally the 2ya Xmas trauma is fully told. That's a puny thing be haunted with for 2 years, Junichi. Sure, being so unmanly as you are, that's to be expected, but I think Umehara makes a better hero than you.

I dunno about him being unmanly. Getting stood up on a date is pretty harsh, especially if it's your first time. But overall, he certainly has more balls than all the protagonists in other harem anime/mangas. Certainly, you can argue that this isn't a "harem" anime, but after watching all the episodes, I can't help but feel bad for the other girls while each of them were getting their own spotlight. Especially Rihoko, who had the saddest ending ever.
If you compare him to other protagonists in romance animanga (Rito, that dumbass bastard Haruto and so many more), he's certainly a step ahead of them. He's at least willing to go for it. The others just makes me want to facepalm every time because there shouldn't be anyone that stupid. I'm at least cheering him on, because I know he'll actually go for it, rather than just getting red in the face and then running away.

Well, I wouldn't go into the heroines. I like some and don't like others. Ofc that's to be expected, it's problematic if we have all heroines with same personality. There needs to be variety, and that inevitably means people will end up disliking some. And yes, Rihoko's ending was... all I can say is she could've gotten a happier ending. Honestly, the execution of her route I like most among all 4 eps routes.
Wait, what. Rito? To Love Ru is a romance manga? K, our definition of romance gotta be vastly different if you take that as a romance. Hard to imagine us agreeing on what makes a man manly in that case. But in case you play Wanko to Kurasou,I refer you to Yusa Yuichi. He's among those that I consider manly. And yes, their roles are different, the story is different. But try imagine switching the roles, I guess you can get the feeling. (Although imo Haruka's route will be messed up in that case)

I finally watched episode 25 and there was a particular conversation that caught my attention.
According to the subtitles, his date from two years ago currently attends the high school "Kibina". If I am not wrong, isn't that the high school in which the storyline of "Kimikiss" takes place? For some reason, Kibina seems to ring a bell in my head.

I haven't seen or played Kimikiss, but I wouldn't be surprised since both VNs are made by the same company, Enterbrain.

Ok first things first don't kill me for my opinions, if any harmed you.
First off, I thought the Morishima Haruka arc was....how would you say....off from what I originally expected(bad). Ten year gap....meant nothing to me, only that they play pretend once in a while. But I noticed as the anime proceeds on, Kaoru's flow is better than Haruka's. Sae's....was somewhat lower than Kaoru's but strong feelings was very well displayed for a shy girl (shyer than Hanako? I THINK NOT! moving on.) The flow of Nanasaki Nana was better than what I kinda expected, her drama scene was also a big plus into the flow(at the moment). Rihoko's story was good but ended it with such a one-sided feeling, a big minus. Ayatsuji Tsukasa was one of the best ones in my opinion and the ten year gap had meaning LOTS OF IT unlike Haruka's. I'm not so sure about the final girl: Risa. She had very good drama, but she visited all the alternate universes all in one episode and I was mindfucked(was totally thinking Byakuran). I'd say she's lower than Tsukasa-san's storyflow.
I really like how the anime doesn't ignore the other heroines at all, instead they help the audience think about the heroine's life without Tachibana Junichi.
And last thing: Is it me or is Junichi getting more and more smarter/adult-like/mature as the arcs go? Even in the Risa arc. To Haruka: dumbfounded, more like a "little puppy." To Kaoru: true close friend. To Sae: a fantastic "instructor," guiding her way into being more open. To Ai: knows when to be a good man. To Rihoko:.....Not really, treats her the same. To Tsukasa: learn to accept bad and good side and deals with her complains/problems/troubles. To Risa: overlooks her sins, and suggest the best solution for the sake of their relationship.
Find faults in here if you want to, and rant towards me and my comments. :P
Other than that: a thought-out anime, carried out very nicely.

The problem is the Anime fail to mention that Junichi is Indeed a Police inspector. That's his real job, not just there to play pretend.

I am very well aware that, but I was speaking in Haruka's perspective (her being a criminal and telling Hibiki to run away as if they're partners in crime). Sorry for the misunderstanding.

This is a automated response that I use for people that comments about the last scene of the Haruka arc.
"They're a lovey dovey husband & wife" can't they enjoy some fantasy role playing on their own. It's just so happen that the anime was showing when they were having one.... >_>

couldn't agree more with you
Tsukasa and Nanasaki are the best, so far
The others could use a little improvement here and there
But yeah, a good anime to watch, overall
