Episode 23 was pretty fun. I agree with UTW that the pacing was rushed though. Which is disappointing; I wouldn't have complained if they made the queen's arc have six episodes.

I can't believe this series is ending soon.

It's not the Bad Ending ending I'm afraid of. I'm afraid of "Bad" Original endings like in the case of Rihoko and Sae.

in Ai's case it worked well, since they actually combined the scenes from the BEST end with the BAD end.

Episode 23:

I'm just glad that every arc their personalities are quite different (even the main male character), and especially this last one is quite on fire. Too bad the whole series is coming to an end......want more! At least until I get a girlfriend that is ^^

Also, Kaoru is so cool. I noticed most every arc makes Haruka look good or cute in some way. But this arc has made Kaoru look like such a good friend and good person.

Ugh. I like all the girls, but every time I try to watch this show, I can't. I just hate the main character so damn much.

I mean he treats Christmas like his mom fucking died or something. YOU GOT STOOD UP ON ONE DATE WITH A GIRL YOU BARELY KNEW. GET THE FUCK OVER IT YOU PANSY ASS BITCH.

He's just not entertaining like Tomoya, for example. Even his side-kick friend is just kinda lame...

So the girls are all pretty good (Except for the third one... Sae, was it? She was annoying as fuck but I think that was just the shitty voice they got for her), but the worthlessness of the male characters just ruins the show for me : /


EDIT: Also there's a significant lack of drama in the game it seems, at least not enough to translate well into Anime, so they have to hype up a lot of stuff. Blegh.

-No one ever said that the girl that stood him up was a "girl he barely knew" This fact is never shown in the game either
(hint : Risa's Secret Arc) And everyone has his/her trauma/faults/weakness, laughing at one doesn't make you even batter.
The result in His trauma, is probably because he really loved this girl, and was expecting a nice Christmas date, and from the looks of it both him and the girl that stood him up, was actually on good terms. The fact that even though they were in good terms, broke his heart, because she never called him, or even tell him that she can't come fro the date. In one perspective he was flat-out rejected, but on the other we never knew who this girl and what happened to her. (once again Risa's Secret Arc) There was no fact that the girl doesn't like him, it only comes from his assumptions.

The problem is is with your Overestimation for the anime itself. I don't know what kind of "drama" you expected, but it must be very over the top.

Amagami is well known for it's light drama with light hearted romance, with some slice of life in it, it doesn't have heart-wrenching plot twists. In the game itself, even some of the BAD END, can actually be seen as a "Postpone Good End". All of the drama are adapted well into the anime 100%, there's no editing and originality. some of them are mixed result from 2 different scenarios in the game.



When one starts to compare things, this is where they get biased. Tomoya never had problems with love and girls. He's only problem lies with his family. Junichi never had family problems, but he has problems with love and girls till the level of Traumatic experience.

Comparing Sunohara and Umehara, is a completely wrong thing to do. Sunohara was made purely for comic-relief for the viewers entertainment, The comedies in Clannad is always over-the-top. While Umehara is made to be just your Best Male friend that understands the heart of his best friedn Junichi. He's not made for heavy comic relief. and in the end Sunohara and Umehara is not the same character.
Being normal doesn't mean it's lame. it's just that you compare characters that doesn't have the same role in an anime.

BTW, One of the best Romance genre's since "Kimikiss" and "Clannad".

A glorious finish to what was a rather good anime. I think this was the first eroge adaptation that actually did the arcs like this, and I gotta say, it was a rousing success. I didn't like most of the Junichis, but the last two were pretty good.

Love Tsukasa what she did with her hair; it suits her rather well.


This next episode looks intriguing. I definitely could use one more episode before I have to say good-bye.

I guess I'm still the only one who hated Kimikiss. I did watch it several years ago...maybe it's time to give it another shot.

Aww, what a nice ending. There wasn't a big twist or dramatic realization in Ayatsuji's arc, and it was pretty predictable. Still, it was lovely and I liked it. I don't usually care for prolouges, but this one seemed to fit, especially since it is the last episode of the regular 24 episode season.

oh yeah, next week is Stalker-san's turn ;D

Risa is the Canon Ending Girl, not Ayatsuji like everyone thinks she is.
