[Anime] Hyouka Discussion Thread

KyoAni's newest anime. Thoughts if you have seen episode 1? I thought that the animation just blew a lot of anime series in the past few season out of the water.

Episode 2 was good, the visuals make my eyes cum, not a whole lot of meat to the story; except for the ending.

Kyon would be proud. I'm going with cutest girl of the season (sorry Tsumiki).

The last episode was great. Interested to see where they take the story. As shadowzs said above, the animations and visuals also make my eyes cum as well.

would it have another plot instead of normal nichijou style anime?

Lol at "no plot", honestly it's getting there. Episode 2 had like 63 hints that plot developments would come. Woudln't be 100% sure though. If you want to, go read the books. Works all the time.

Anyways, gg for me. I'm guessing you guys taking those Mazui stuff?

It's definitely not going to have a Nichijou style plot, assuming you're referring to the anime and not just straight up using the Japanese word. I doubt it's going to go so far as to have a plot like Another either.

Tons of guys everywhere saying it lol (that gg trolls). Seemed fine to me though.

But there's this scene in gg and Mazui, when Oreki is talking to Satoshi. Satoshi says Oreki doesn't want to have anything to do with Romance, Sports and Academics and calls him a masochist (this is in gg). In Mazui's it's inferiority complex.

Imo both worked fine. Mazui released earlier though. I'm gonna get both.

Haven't seen 2 of gg though.

I have to say the artwork is great. The opening song is awesome as well, which drew me to further watch it. I can't say anything about the plot since I've only watched the first episode, but it looks like it's an anime that I would prioritize over the other ongoing ones right now.

And this is why (mostly) sane people don't insert Japanese in their English sentences, it just winds up creating confusion. In the future, just use "slice of life" like most people.

In episode 2, it's going to a slow pace of development with the characters.

The OP is very nice, especially the "raindrop" effect.
The characters looks like them in K-on. And Oreki does the samething with his hair as Ryuuji (in toradora).

Ep 2 was ok, nothing to especial.

I see. Just watched it right now, and I really am impressed. The visuals are outstanding, and the plot seems to be getting a lot more interesting.



Chitanda's stare makes me feel all giddy. And I find it funny how Houtarou actually loses his composure when Chitanda stares at him.
