[Anime] Sword Art Online (Postponed to Summer 2012)

Another good (but sad) episode. Did anybody else find the face of the phantom hilarious before Yui destroyed it...

I love how the thing's eyes just go full retard for a moment there. Next episode should be good.

Personally, I feel the episode was quite well done. Although I still feel The Fatal Scythe was a bit more comical than what was described in the Light Novel. The best scene in the whole episode was obviously Yui's death. I love how the creators intentionally put in the slow ballad and slowly lead you up to tears. My only complaint was the "error" scene. If they put up error signals in the background, it would make it much more appealling in my opinion.

We got a good dose of comedy with the fish catching thing, some real sweetness and whatnot between Kirito and Asuna, and finally...wow. The tell of a good show for me, is when I sit up during the action scenes. And holy crap, was I sitting up straight. When this show does a fight, they do it awesomely. God, next week needs to get here!

Epic episode is epic. Humor, romance and an epic battle with a realization: There's no such thing as retreat from this world for Kirito and Asuna. They have to fight, or they'll eventually die. This Boss in particular, with all of it's scythes is virtually immune to Starburst Stream(After all, it can easily block the attacks). We'll need to see some of Heathcliff's time freezing skills and epic block defense.

However, they won't be getting passed that....

I wonder if the show will be doing the Fairy Dance Arcs (Vol. 3 and 4)...

i'm going to miss these epic boss fights once we get into ALO
