I actually kind of like where they're going with the current arc, and as far as the whole seiyuu otaku thing, I think it's a nice little bit of social commentary. I mean, the voice actors have LIVES and these obsessed fanboys can't seem to grasp that. At least that's what I think Ohba and Obata are trying to get across.

I never could understand the fandom and borderline stalking of the voice actor corps. Maybe because i don't care who play the voice as long as they are good at it. It seem more of a hating on a guy getting love vs the purity of your craft thing to me.

I take it you've read chapter 167. I was glad that someone is FINALLY taking a public stand for Azuki and Mashiro. I can't wait for Fukuda to lay the verbal smacketh down on the people that have been bad mouthing them.

Yep. Every time Fukuda decides to act you know something epic is gonna happen.
This chapter made him my second favorite character in Bakuman, he might even overtake Hiramaru as my favorite if this keeps up.

Ahh nice chapter.. Worst thing about anime is their fans.. best thing is their fans. Weebs and otaku's are lonely virginal creatures that believe their voice actors and characters are the same thing.. pure and innocent.. like mommy.. except mommy fuck daddy and we all know daddy is a freak ^_-.
