can't wait to see it hope it has better pacing than blood +This is one of my hopes, blood+ was freaking boring before it reached the half-point. Saya being indecisive..gah..
At least This Saya knows her duty, accepts her duty, and actually fulfilled her duty without flinching.

i am not sure if she does know what she is doing during the monster fightsNah, anyone who can kill with cold-blood must knew what are they doing, there's no confusion nor hestitation in her eyes, when she fought that "thing" .

it seemed in the post fight seen she either has another personality during battle like post fight she seemed to not know why she was covered in blood

I believe that she's just used to the blood & fighting, since it's obvious that wasn't her first job.

now this is more like it, an nice "casual" discussion about Blood-C, not about why it sucks because it's not Blood+.

Unable to find episode one ATM in the way I want it. I doubt the anime is actually out yet. Probably will read the manga.
I'm in hopes that this series tops Blood+. The problem with Blood+ in my eyes was that for the first half or more of the show was Saya being highly indecisive about whether she should fight or not. The fight scenes that I can remember were not all that interesting and when I ended the series I never looked back on it. Even after Saya went on to fight she decides this in what is really the falling action of the series. I'm surprised I didn't just quit the series instead of finishing it.
One final let down I kinda had with the series was and will always be the labeling of this as a vampire anime. It really is not vampire anime. Sure there are creatures that drink blood and that stuff but the series quickly machine guns the label to Hell.
Not gonna lie though, the only reason I am watching this one is for character designs and future hentai based on this. Gut feeling tells me the action will be below meh and the plot will do very little to save this.
Oddly enough now that I think about it, if this turned out to be an all out ecchi anime I would seriously lose all hope and destroy my computer. Strange, I looked forward to hentai based on this but not the series itself giving fan service.

already released by DOKI subs, still LQ though.
--------------
and I really doubt that Clamp will change the whole Blood theme for just ecchi. This will probably follow the path of Tsubasa Chronicle or xxxHOLIC, where the Dark side is balanced with good comedy early on the story, but will get darker through the end.

Clamps writing the story for this? Interesting turn of events.

Lol at ignorance. Well at least you didn't go "berserk" and spouting out "this is not Blood+, it should not be in the Blood+ series".

By that logic then the rest of Trinity Blood's Light Novel after the original authors death is not truly Trinity Blood and does not belong in the series. Such people should accept that someone else is writing the story.
In this case it's CLAMP. I am more familiar with xxxHolic than any other manga work from them. I keep meaning to read Tsubasa but I never get the time to.
In any case I'm sure the characters of this series will be highly likable and will probably keep me watching Blood-C. As for plot it's quite questionable. I can only recall CLAMP doing works that have regard to the fantasy genre or comedy. I don't think I can recall them doing a very serious Sci-Fi story unless they had more contribution to Code Geass than just character design.
In any case I think a certain amount of optimism should be held with Blood-C. I'm sure CLAMP will do a good job working on Blood-C.
Oh that explains the "C" now.
Wait, where do I show ignorance? Don't make me stick my fingers in my eyes and yell "Ahahahahahaha" because of the pain of trying to ignore what you type! (Joke)

I don't think I can recall them doing a very serious Sci-Fi story.Well, I don't think that sci-fi is the key point, but the ability of keeping things serious/dark while still offering nice comedy and humor. Even the lighthearted ones turns pretty dark/serious in the end, ex: Tsubasa Chronicle & xxxHolic, even Kobato.
The fanrage stems from the distrust that CLAMP will destroy Otonashi Saya's "image" (eventhough it's clearly a different Saya) and the dark and grittiness of the original story.

Let me get back to you when I finally can watch Blood-C. All I can say is the fans can drown in their pain of Blood-C "ruining" Blood+, I have something that is more than a gut feeling that Blood-C will be an anime I will remember for this whole decade.

Hahaha! That was my opinion since the beginning of this conversation. I dislike Clamp just on a personal level while respecting their achievements, particularity because they worked on Code Geass and it came out beautiful in my opinion.
I'm not fan raging, I love the art work in fact I believe it could work with the Blood Saga lore, I just have one question...
Is this a new installment in the same BLOOD+ universe with a different character, with the same name? Or is this a completely new series that is also loosely based on "Last Vampire" film like and not set in the BLOOD+ universe.

It's a completely new series that is also loosely based on the Blood the Last Vampire. the people raging can't understand that and still try to compare it to Blood+.

Awesome, I only raged in the beginning because I thought it was a reboot or remake of Blood+ (unless Blood+ was originally so horrible that it needed a reboot, but I believe it was just fine). However if its just a new series then I can accept that. I'm definitely going to watch it now.
