Edit: Found it. And unluckily it's a very vague scene.

If I remember correctly, Blood-C is in no way related to the previous Blood's. Thusly, it is not a sequel to, prequel to, or remake of, the previous series or movie.

That flashback may just make Saya similar to the other ones though, the-bloody-out-of-Saya-who-kills-ruthlessly-on-the-past I mean.

Oh! Let's play guessing games then! Let's guess what Saya of Blood-C was like in the past!

I'm gonna guess that Saya isn't really just Saya! She's really her mother who she think is dead but isn't because she really is her mother! Thus, Saya is really the wife of her father, who isn't her father anymore but just her husband.

Okay I'm done being highly farfetched. Now I have to go find something in the history of literature that pulls this off.

Anyways, all I can comment on with episode 5 is, "WTF?! Giant eyeball?" and "Okay now the series seems to have started it's move"

I've been infected by Saya's song. I caught myself humming Saya's song involuntarily.

Episode 6 man. Oh man, this series is doesn't seem to be afraid to throw punches now. 3 minutes and 48 seconds into the episode and I am botch shocked and in a state of enjoyment. More from me when I finish the episode. Censors ruin my joy a bit for this one. I think there's something wrong with me now that I think about that.

Edit: Episode was great. I just can't describe what I feel right now. I honestly think that this will be a fine replacement to Ao no Exorcist on my number one spot of anime I anticipate to watch every Friday.

I know what you mean, this one caught me off guard.

This series is exceeding my expectations.
And just who is Saya-chan really??

Speaking as a person that hasn't seen Blood+ for some reason(yea I know shame on me) I couldn't rage like the some people here because it was not Blood+ but I must say this series was boring as hell with little to no plot in the first 5 episodes.

I was basically saying to my self; "this cant be that bad its gonna get better soon" up until episode 5, at this point I was seriously thinking about dropping it for being extremely boring but this, I mean episodes 6 and 7, completely blew me away.The sheer amount of story we got on just 2 episodes is amazing(compared to the story development in the series so far).

This series came all the way from one of the most boring, repetitive and stupid of this season to one of those anime that I'm eagerly waiting for next week to come so I can see 1 more episode of it.

Errr as for Episode 7...
