Nisemonogatari/Bakemonogatari 2 happening at last

WTF? Oh well, any idea when this is going to come out?

Sometime this year, in Japan that is, it'll probably be 2013 by the time we get it.

The release will be this year, considering the nature of the studio and anime movies, we should indeed get an english version immediately after a blu ray release. That's under the circumstances that Crunchyroll doesn't endorse it and let viewers watch it online.

The movie has been delayed in Japan until 2013 btw so it won't be in english until later in 2013 or possibly early 2014. Person above posted same link.

I have heard this anime (more like both) is pretty fucked up. So i'll give it a try, i got a fetish for fucked up shit. Not really. I just like it the weird way - you may take that anyway you like.

It has a special kind of animation if you ask me, the first time i watched Bakemonogatari I just thought "what the fuck is this?" but in the end you get used to it, I certainly enjoyed it so I hope you will too.


Also guys, wasn't the him becoming a vampire explained throughout the series?

I can be wrong tho, haha.

First Impression
This anime was very special, in mosty good ways.
First of all i want to point out that i was surprised that this was a vampire anime and that i like the animation very much, it's unique. Also it reminds me of Requiem for a dream and mirror's edge.
I will watch the shit out of these two animes!

Good/bad stuff

This was just too weird for me. I didn't like it.


The close ups at the eye was very cool and the unnecessary info was just a nice touch to the whole. And the 2 frames messages was surprising but it also added to the feeling. The FPS shots was also very unique for an anime. But the dialog is one of the best things about this.

Oh boy "Everything-story". (Zenmonogatari). Based on the poster they want to cover 7 LN's. Bake and Nise had 26 episodes together and covered 7 different arcs. Its important to point out that the Bake LN's had 5 arc's between 2 of them and each arc in "Zen" is at least one LN by itself. I'm fairly confident that the next season will be 26 episodes and not air until 2013. It's great news but also makes me kind of nervous in thinking about the amount of stuff being covered, if that poster is any kind of indication, and how much will be skipped.
