Nisemonogatari/Bakemonogatari 2 happening at last

Fanservice in Nisemonogatari definitely brought fanservice as a whole to an entirely new level.
Were there an academic program centered around anime- this series would definitely be a benchmark.
EDIT: Found this on a blog pertaining to this episode.

Why is everyone around him so much win? Even his sisters. The artwork improved so much and I thought it was already impossible since Bakemonogatari was already a masterpiece.

Im kind of disappointed with Nisemonogatari so far, I loved Bakemonogatari for the story and was expecting more of it with season 2. Dont get me wrong I love fanservice, just not in an anime I want to watch a story in. After episode 8 I think ill just let it sit for a while until more episodes come out.

I think these cutesy scenes are going overboard. I was hoping Nise would be greater than Bake but it's hard to beat a classic isnt it? I feel like they're dragging on the story. I suppose it's because they have 12 episodes for 2 arc's unlike bake with 4 arc's. Sigh... pretty disappoint...
T'was nice to c karen with short hair. I like it.

I can't deny it that the initial attraction to a person/character is appearance... Although when you start to like them because of their personalities/behaviors I guess it doesn't hurt to try different appearances...

This episode DEFINITELY makes up for last week's filler.BloodyScythe wrote...
Episode 9Yay more filler. This whole anime seems to be filler aside from introducing new characters who have had little to no effect on the plot so far. Why are two characters being suddenly introduced this late in the anime? I doubt they'll contribute much of anything in the remaining two episodes. Shaft must be pretty confident Nise will get a sequel.
It's not really filler if it was in the novels, you know? And I seem to recall novel readers saying that Shaft was adapting Nise at about the same pages-per-episode rate as Bake.
