[Anime] NO GAME NO LIFE

Love the first episode.
I was just grinning and laughing through it.
I had a big smile on my face

Really liked the first episode. I'm going to enjoy watching this show. One of the best anime of the new season so far. Kind of felt a bit similar to Mondaiji-tachi which is a definitely a good thing.

If the anime follows the light novel, it shouldn't be anything like SAO.

Ep.1
I was really surprised by Tet's appearence. I didn't expect him to look like that. Shiro's little triangle mouth is just too cute. She even managed to replace Mikan as best imouto. I am pleased with the VA choices.

I'm definitely not using HS again though. In the light novel the language is more...obscene. More profanity/lewd jokes etc.

Strong opener, art and premise. Expecting great things down the road.

8 minutes and done.

Another show where "Good at video games" means "Freakjob shut-ins."

The first episode looks great, I'm getting impatient already!

This light novel is kickass; I hope the anime can live up to its name really.

Welp I watched the first episode and this is definitely shaping up to be a really good anime. There was quite a bit of exposition but in this case it worked quite well as you felt you were learning with the characters. Will be watching for sure.



Shiro is a qt.

Sure looks interesting, looks to be better than Sao. Impressions of the first episode gave me a feeling it's just a GAME OF WITS rather than playing the game since most people just cheat.

I'm enjoying the vivid art style, and though it does seem like a reverse SAO, I can't wait for the second episode. I like the main characters especially. The worst part about the anime was when I seen the credits rolling. Definitely will be watching this and next week can't come faster. I may pick up the LN.

The LN was done by a Brazilian instead of a Japanese...huh.

Well as much hype as I pumped in to this anime for my self i'd say it was done pretty well. Everything was pretty on par with the light novel(s). The only thing I have to nitpick at is the end of the ep(well after the credits) with what Steph was wearing when she was at there door. Overall though I can't wait for next week to come around~

The first episode was very interesting I will keep watching.

It is funny when the say "the real world finally gut bug out", i really laughed really hard after that..very good anime. I guess i'm gonna read the LN next..

So anyone noticed how Sora won that poker game?

The only explanation is that during the few seconds the lady looked towards Kurami, Sora had shuffled the cards to his preferred order so as to keep the spades completely out of her draw. That's why Shiro said that it was an 'incredibly obvious cheat' (plus the fact he purposely got out a Royal Straight Flush). And this is assuming that the lady doesn't shuffle the cards first, unless he can even predict the method she shuffles them too (there are methods to shuffle a deck, in order to keep them 'random').


Just ignore the near impossibility of someone doing that in real life lol, even if we assume that the whole thing was staged.

Then he chose to use the way that ensures absolute victory no matter how the woman cheats - a Royal Straight Flush. He likely already took away the RSF cards during that time, and only needed to play it out later on. Obviously it was a risk, but he deduced that the woman was a lousy cheater (classic hook, line and sinker right there) and just outright destroyed her. Her reaction was real funny too. XD

The author (Kamiya YUU) is one of my favorite author. Almost all of his works contain brother with sister complex and sister with brother complex. Greed Unlimited is a good manga as well.

Love the anime, and Shiro's voice is really cute as well.
