Persona 4 Anime -

Seeing as how P4 actually gave us the option to just remain friends with the girls, instead of making that the only choice like in P3, I think the friend zone is the safest bet for these guys, without pissing off too many shippers, I suppose. :P

So, that was pretty good. I appreciated the use of all the familiar background music, and after playing P4 three times over I adjusted easier to the Japanese VAs than I thought I would.

Nostalgia attack... Everything was nostalgic from characters, bgm, Date/calendar loading screen, reactions, to hanged humans... though what is the difference with Souji Seta and his current anime name?

The adaptation of P4's Game elements especially the battle were friggin cool

Anyone, which group is releasing 10 bits version of the anime?

man, was i truly happy when i saw that they used the day transitions for transitioning, the games BGM/OST, and the eyes when they're casting magic. when i saw him say "persona" and then thunder struck, i was like "OH HELL YEAH!!! USE THAT ZIO ON IT!!!". i was also glad that Narukami unbuttoned his jacket at the end of the ep. a buttoned up jacket Narukami just seems so weird. and when i heard the oh so nostalgic songs from the game, i did my little jigs that i made to go along with it. the song that plays when you're in the TV realm (game), that song for example. just imagine what Data from Megaman Legends does whenever he's just dancing there. that's what i do when i hear that song. they just HAVE to play "The Almighty" whenever they fight "that enemy" (i say "that enemy" cause i don't wanna spoil it for those who didn't have the luxury of playing the game).

i haven't been able to adjust to the japanese voices just yet due to the fact that i played the game like millions of times. i also haven't adjusted to his new name either, but i'm trying.

and one final thing.....

Just finished watching the first episode.

Ho...ly...shit...

First off, I was cracking up during the entire first half. It was EXACTLY like the game, even more so with the day transitions and stats screen. But, god, that battle really did it for me. It's like, if watching the first half was like coming across an old friend you almost didn't recognize, and the second half was realizing it was him, and the joy of reuniting after such a long time.

God, I miss my PS2 so much...someone please hold me... T_T

That's basically my reaction when I finished watching it.

The way they presented the scenes were remarkable. The way the Calendar shifts, the main character's Personality Screen . . . I really felt as if I was playing the game again.

The animation is fluid, especially the part where he summoned his Persona of Fools, "Izanagi". I wonder if it will transform into "Izanagi-no-Ookami" in this anime. That would be awesome.

watched the first ep...this series has my eye on it now. the summoning of the Persona was pretty cool, I'm definitely interested in the story.

Well I loved the game, and I loved the first episode, it was mostly the little things that impressed me the most. The music, the transition into the next day, the eye catch status parameters.

It seems a lot of us who will be posting here will have prior knowledge/have completed the game, with that said I still will be putting spoilers, I hope everyone else does the same, I know we all like to believe everyone knows about this game, and know how it all goes, but that's not the case. So lets all try to spoiler things ok please. If not.... Meh someone will prob spoil the others here soon, but I'd rather not it be me.

I wanna say some things between game and this episode one the I found interesting, yes this will have spoilers, you've been warned!

I'm really gonna like this anime it feel's like the game but more fast paced episode 1 was great with an awesome art style. The Persona series is one of my favorites of all time I wish is was Persona 3 though can't wait for episode 2!

Feels good watching this after playing it two years ago.

I just notice it too, she is more cuter in the anime...

and we have our first skill "ZIO".... I want more!!! I guessing that our MC's "gotta catch'em all" or multiple persona abilities will not be shown here... I guess they'll be focusing on the story than the battle...

Will there be a "EXP GRINDING" Arc????
