Persona 4 In Trouble: Leaks and Strifes

According to the tweet of animator Arai Jun (the key animator of "Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto"), the episode 2 of Persona 4 The Animation was leaked to video sharing sites with French subtitles before the TV airing in Japan. The OP sequence of the anime was also leaked yesterday prematurely. Arai Jun disclosed that the production studio AIC A.S.T.A. has been swindling the animators and his salary hasn't been paid even after the deadline. Animator Murata Toshiharu (the character designer of "Hellsing") agreed with Arai that there is something wrong with the whole AIC studios. Two anonymous animators (@zouni and @bito) also tweeted that they quit the team of Persona 4 from the episode 3 because of the bad management of AIC.

This could be really bad people.

Raws of 2 are out... maybe 3 and on will be affected.

And some of the people saying one of the animators quit because of the quality of episode 2 sucking don't make sense. Episode 2 looked just fine to me. Subs are out and I liked it just fine.

well.. I kinda fell that way somehow... not bad and not so good...just meh good... well i hope things are not too rushed and its better to leave the Persona 4 ep 12 or 13 hanging than a rushed ending... at least if it was left hanging there still a possibility of getting an S2 (even if its just a small %)

Didn't they say it was going to be 26 episodes? :S

Fucking love her, and that adorable face.

Personally, that is a bad idea. The game is 50+ hrs (that is the whole game +true ending), so making it into ep 12-13 even rushing it defeats the purpose, plus, half of the story wouldn't be fleshed out nor characters to join the team. Not much point to me for them to produce the series and quit half way.

Was it just me or was commie version pixelated and smearing. in the close to zero black areas and contrast.

Bad raws? or maybe they're using 10 bit?
I didn't experience any pixelation and smearing in Doki's version.

It could be the source or... i don't think it because of the 10 bit... because this laptop can render that perfectly... meh wasn't to bad.

Is doki in 10bit?

For me, it played fine (720p). Commie versions are 10bit, so that I can say for sure, not sure about Doki.

They're using 8 Bit.

I had no problems with commie version.

I found out... one of my codec was fucked.. updated with the new cccp 10bit stuff.. fucking beta.

Eh, I liked the episode just fine. Nice little reference to the rank 10 of Yosuke's S. Link and Chie's reaction to them coming back was funnier than the games. The preview for the next episode makes it look like Chie's getting her persona next week, so I hope they keep the gag from the manga with her Shadow giving Jiraiya and Yosuke a critical hit to the nads.

This really did well in its first ep.

Yup next up will be Chie and Yukiko and one of the scene I want on the adaptation AND i hope this one is not recycled but adapted
