Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~

I never thought they would waste time in explaining the obvious. As if we didn’t know that already... Claudia was undeniably the mastermind behind Scythe's double-crossing and the Yakuza or should I say 'Shiga' skillfully played both sides (it surely was a win-win situation so why not). The 'only', yet at the same time the most important thing that Claudia failed to do was to eliminate a cockroach. Once a pest will always be a pest and that’s all Scythe’s has become, hindering her ambitions.
Scythe is a fuckin cockroach that could easily be dealt upon with by simply one crushing step. He is no better of a conspirator than Claudia is actually, imo. He hides himself by using another name, wearing a painter’s cap, and colored glasses; in other words, he’s nothing but a fag. He puts himself in harms way while brainless Ein does all the work for him. I so can't wait for that pest to get his much deserve due.
The episode surely didn’t make the series any more challenging to read. I just knew that Shiga would finalize the most predictable sell-out job yet. -I take pride in my predictions and character-judgment, just so you know- The sound of footsteps which approached Godoh from behind brought along the melody for a requiem. If it wasn’t too obvious, Shiga showed up only after everything’s settled down and even had to hold a gun?!
The certain flash back regarding Godoh's sister also gave it away. In any case, it wasn’t to inform us that he has a sister (who reminded me of Yukio from Black Lagoon) back in Japan, it was simply to let us know of how he deeply trusted Shiga, to go as far as to entrust his sister to him. See how different Respect/Admiration from Loyalty is; Ambition is what sets those words apart. -I don't think ill of Shiga's betrayal; it was commonly necessary in their world and he never did pull the trigger anyway. (Yeah, there's no denying that I'm a sick bastard) –All I’m saying is that don’t get your hopes up for a phantom character whom you’ll never get to see in more than just a flash back sequence. Be contented! There’s already more than enough female characters in the series as it is. (greedy bastards!) She doesn't even know about any of this stuff; it would only pain me to see another innocent girl like that get involved. (Cal... please come home safe after you've killed Reiji for abandoning you!)
Well, even though threading the series' plot has been nothing but breeze so far, I’m still quite enjoying it and looking forward to my daily dose of Cal-vitamins every week. Fuck, now we've lost her... not entirely but still, her bubbly personality is most likely gone by the next time that we see her as a full-pledge assassin who goes by the name of Drei.
The next most impressive thing for me in the series (aside from Cal) is the music and that’s why I’m surprised that I still haven’t found its soundtrack anywhere, knowing that it was supposedly released a couple of weeks ago.
Lastly, for my main concern on Cal... there's no shit that she's still alive and in fact nowhere near Reiji's apartment when the place blew off. Although thinking about who has her is most excruciating. I sure hope it’s not that fuckin pedophile; she’ll only get molested and end up as brain-dead as Ein! -I’d really hate it and I see no reason for he already has Ein. However, I’m quite sure he’s aware that Ein has gotten real soft. Knowing him, he wouldn’t hesitate to dispose of an old toy for a new one. Also, there’s no doubt that he’s the only one capable of developing such an assassin. Whether I hate it or not, and now that he’s back inside Inferno, the more reason for me to believe that only he could have Cal... And if the next episode preview wouldn’t be too much of an indication, plus Ein’s quite emotional monologue (there might still be a chance for her salvation after all), I can smell the garbage disposal truck on its way. -Drei is in the works, I presume.
I really should shut the hell up now...

@Sereaphim: Seems like you've got a lot of catching up to do.
Soundtrack, anyone?
I found this last night... (a lil something for you guys to think about)
But thanks to that, I now have a very good idea of what's gonna happen next. Can't they make it a little less more challenging?

Let's face it people - she's gone. Or will be soon. Question is - can an awesome character be reforged into a completely different yet still awesome character? The image hermit posted makes me somewhat hopeful ...

Preview looks like ....slice of life? Interesting. Probably some undercover stuff.
And Scythe must die, since he's going to convert Cal to his side. Motherfucking bastard.

Fuck yeah - my premonition is that Scythe Master will soon be finding himself with some new bullet holes (or at least I certainly hope so - dirty old bastard).
And, Hermit, go eat a banana , don't shoot me down in this review, 'kay? I still hope for a ReijixElen pairing aaaand:
And, when going to check for some updates on animes, I noticed Phantom: Requiem For The Phantom ep 19 O.o that was fast. Going to watch that soon.
EDIT: Found out it wasn't that of an extraordinarily fast update, just me not watching anime for like a week and forgetting about it.

I just finished ep20....damn I am confused. What was Ein's age in previous eps? The beginning of ep20 says that the story now on happens two years later right? Why is Ein still in some kind of high school? And within two years, loli becomes an adult.....damn that's quick

At first this only peaked my interest a bit. Now im like NEXT EP NEXT EP NEXT EP!!!!!
Im glad i started watching it. And finally, an assassin in a school uniform. Ive been wanting to see that.

So, what do you think? what can you say about the new sequences/themes?
Been wondering for quite a while now if there will ever be any new OP and ED themes so it's really good to finally see these changes.
I like the new OP sequence quite a lot and although misleading and not exactly thematically fit for the series. Nice to see Cal all grown up (should I still refer to her with that name?) while Reiji and most particularly Elen didn't even seem like grew an inch taller nor change/mature in terms of appearance at all.
Meanwhile, I just flat out didn't like the concept of the ED sequence. I do like KOKIA's song however; and so does ALI PROJECT's.
Now I'm just patiently waiting for episode 20 to get sub'd...
ALI PROJECT - "Senritsu no Kodomotachi"
KOKIA - "Transparent"

EPISODE 20 OUT! Well dispite the fact that there was a time-skip(I hate those) the episode was ... a little interesting, it only got interesting at the end o_O, Damn Cal got so hot now. The only question is... how will Reiji react to this? Is Scythe Master also in Japan now? If so, will Reiji hunt him down like a dog? all these questions.. will probably not be answered in the next episode... but I hope they are :P.
Well then time for Hermit's comments on this ep =}.

hunt scythe down?
Not likely to suceed now that there's 6 phantoms. 0-0 Cal sums it up to 7.

I believe the other 6 are not made yet, but still..Zwei could probably handle them, + he's got Ein aswell. And maybe also Cal probably does not take orders from Scythe, her only goal is Zwei.
