Well, well, well, thank you for the patience Hemit :O Didn't know I was appreciated, haha.
Lizzie to the rescue, much? I've never actually noticed her that much before, but I've come to realize that she is kinda cool. Me not noticing her might relate to the fact that she isn't that sexy, according to me...
No action in ep 22 makes kitty sad - only drama~ Well, beggars can't be choosers I suppose. And fuck: Reiji is still goddamn aggravating. Grow - some - balls, onegai!
And, my opinion of Cal just went down a notch - again. Yeah, yeah, I know; she's hot. But... the "oh, woe is me" is grating on my nerves. Grow up.. oh wait, she did. She grew two oversized watermelons, but apparently not the psyche (neither did her nose!). Bah. And, her anger is constantly flaring, which is also quite annoying. On that note; I'm predicting that Cal will get a huge make-over in her mental department or she will soon face death. Just a hunch, don't bite my head off now Hermit.
Elen was awesome. More so than usually, actually even if she wasn't featured that much in the episode. Hmm... you don't have to explain what you felt about Elen in ep 22. You'll just rawr. "You're just a ghost from the past." Shazzam - the best line in the entire ep.
Ep 23 seems to be rather intriguing. Will be waiting eagerly for it to show up - which I hope is soon.

Well, surprising enough to even see her playing quite a role in the series' remainder. I still have high hopes in her dying near the end though. She fuckin killed Claudia, her dear friend, and like hell will I ever forgive her for that! Unless of course Claudia suddenly turns up out of nowhere. :D

Ep 23 seems to be rather intriguing. Will be waiting eagerly for it to show up - which I hope is soon.Storytelling time! Most likely just your ordinary kidnapping incident. (It only reminds me of how AWESOME BLACK LAGOON IS!) Well, I'm definitely intrigue as to how Shiga will make his move upon learning of the abduction. Should Reiji make his own move, Mio might be caught in a crossfire, be fatally wounded, and die within Reiji's embrace. I could see that happening but it's just way too corny for my taste. Screw that! I do believe however that Mio's death should effectively add more damage/torment/grief/burden on Reiji's soul. It should very well be the push that he needs, enabling him to put a bullet through Drei's hateful heart.
Believe me, I never wanted to hate her but she really left me with no choice.. Fuck, she's gone from adorable into abominable! Plus the fact that every damn time she opens her mouth, she reminds me of yet another character whom I despise; Canaan!
I really would love for her to snap out of it and realize the truth but at this point, there's just no way that I see it happening. She can't be reasoned with and she can't easily be threatened. I'm thinking that if Reiji could somehow push her out of harms way (save her by sacrificing himself), that should trigger those precious memories of their time together to resurface. The thing is, she's so damn skilled that it's almost next to impossible for her to get caught in a predicament where she'd need some saving.

No no... If I were, would I have an obsession with Yoruichi and Halibel, lol? Nah, I just don't like her hair. Her VA is good, I like that kinda hoarse voice. I wonder how she would look with longer hair... Hmm...

Ye... Black Lagoon was and still is epic. Can't WAIT for Third Barrage to air. Hmm.. Mio dying in Reiji's arms... No... I don't think I want an even more emo-ish Reiji. But yeah, that might push him to grow some balls, but there's a chance for him to get even more of a depressing character.
Although I do agree with your opinion of Cal I do think she could get a little less hotheaded. God knows stranger things have happened earlier in the series. Not impossibly, rather very unlikely. Cal being skilled though.. we haven't exactly seen her in action, so I can't voice my opinion on how skilled she is.

I already deleted the file but from what I can still recall, it was her retort concerning Cal not having forgotten about Reiji through all this time. In any case, Ein was so badass in that particular scene; only her arms moved while Drei had too many unnecessary motion. Flashy doesn't equate to being effective and neither does it look cool all the time.

Even a good cold shower doesn't seem to help one bit. And for being skilled, just what are you watching exactly? Wasn't it in episode 21 where she single-handedly eliminated her target despite all that security (probably without even much as a single drop of sweat)?! If that ain't skills, I wonder what that was? Luck perhaps?

Well I realize I'm quite late but RL was keeping me too busy. So ep 22.
Claudia I think is definitly dead. Lizzy most likely going to die from what i saw in the preview. This is the last chance for me and my dream of a "happy ending" with cal lol I frankly like her.. alot more then Ein o_O, I hate the fact that Scythe turned her against Reiji. Mio I'm not sure if she's going to live or die, if she dies all it would do IMO is going to make him act more "normal" being that that's the last thing she was talking to him about, how he values normal life more then other ppl etc. I realize this is a short answer , but that is only due to the fact that ep 23 is out and I'm going to watch it now, and take the liberty of hopefully being the first one to bring my opinions up on this ep:)

Can`t wait for episode 24.... where Ein will fight Drei.... I think the puppets will make them cooperate or kill Drei in the process... Sigh... How come Cal can change so much... I hope she can realized Reiji`s feeling and made up with him.... (of course that has very little chance compared to her dying cause trying to protect Reiji when fighting puppet)..... (looking at the preview... I doubt the fight will start in episode 24.....)

Ep 23 made me rage...well, it was decent, but seeing Reiji is totally Ein's man now really annoyed me...what's so good about that woman raawwwrr!!? Not to mention he's still the ball-less killer+moe student type of man...luckily I have yet to hear him use boku....
And there's the issue with Cal, too...I think I can understand her super twisted love towards Reiji but...there should be some other way to vent it out, right? Wait, considering how Reiji is right now, it's quite hard to think of any other way....
Lastly, that damn Ein. I may hate her but...at least she's more respectable in that she actually has more balls than Reiji atm. Although I can't help but think she's soo excited to eliminate Cal, her potential rival....ah, her moe voice sounds soo ooc, that I almost puked.
Since all the three main characters are now kinda weird...I'm rooting for Scythe now. Let's see what his private staffs can do...although I do doubt they can do anything much at all.
Btw...I wonder why the preview for ep24 sounds like Ein's gonna die...if that's true...kyaa!

@Mibuchiha About Cal`s mental.... I think it was the side effect of quick growth....
Sigh... How come only for about one or two year one can change that much.....
Her vengeance was foolish.... Is she really love Reiji??? Strange.... She should have realized by now that Reiji thought she has died.... Why said hating him if she brought the watch with her all the time....
About the preview.... Is it her last word??? Or was it her word that she had been using all the time.... I don`t know.... I just hoped it will turned out to be an unexpected outcome....

@Mem: Well, that's why I say Cal's love towards Reiji is twisted...and when I go through it once again, I can't help to think that all Cal's angry about that it is not Reiji who walked alongside her in the 'dark' world...and that the feeling of Reiji chose Ein over her. Well, here's me hoping that Cal and Reiji's relationship will be better...they don't really have to be together, just that it kinda hurts to see Cal harboring such hatred...
And I want Ein dead. Miserably.

Hell, that episode had the most annoying part
If this continues any longer I may just start to want to kill every single person in the anime, with Scythe still my top target. Though I would still have to go and divorce Cal and Elen/Ein first before I kill them. ;)

Well then it's about time for my opinion's on ep 23 , I think i made HermitVI wait long enough :D.
Well then firstly I would just like to say... I KNEW it! I just knew Lizzeh was gonna die, it was predictable from the preview in ep 22. Secondly do I detect just a hint of jealousy from Ein towards Cal? I think I do. Everything is aparantly going according to Scythe's plan , he was probably expecting this knowing how non-rational Cal's ways of doing things are and knew he would get a chance to test out his 6 new creations. Reiji can't help but feel unlucky that everyone he gets into contact with basicly gets fucked. But still he just cant' help but not get away from them.. Cal took great joy in destroying Mio "perfect image" of Reiji and I'm pretty surprised she actually called herself his ex. Amazingly I don't have anything more to talk about on this ep, was a pretty "plain" episode IMO.
About the Preview: I can't help but think something big is going to go down, Cal is probably going to be interupted by a few or maybe all of the 6 new numbers while toying around with Mio being that from the preview Ein was most likely far from there, or maybe she won't get interupted. Just speculation.
P.S Hope that was enough for ya Hermit xD
**EDIT** How come I don't see Das in here anymore? Don't you have anything to say anymore about this series?=) Don't be shy. We'd love to hear your opinions aswell =).

@mibuchiha How come u know my darkest thought..... Well, I just hope it do not result in Cal dying and Ein live with Reiji happily ever after ( if that happen I would take a great shock).... But like I said earlier.... I honestly want to see the fight between Cal and Reiji.... I want to see... can she really pull the trigger.... I want to see... Is my hope that appears because I see her bringing the watch with her all the time is reasonable.... I`ll see for the next episode or more.... (If it is jealousy.... I think every girl except Mio feel it...... Hahahaha.... I don`t know if he can be called a lucky guy or unlucky)

Since the storytelling is done, it’s ultimately time to go to bed. And we all do know what happens from there on right? RAEP!!! :D
You’re not the only one who expected that, really.
Jealousy? Oh boy, here we go again with yet another LOVE discussion. Well, Reiji and Elen’s relationship, the way I see it, is not exactly of an intimate loving couple. While they mutually respect and value one another, they have yet to express that kind of LOVE which you’re suggesting. Rather than of jealousy, Ein acts on her feelings of obligation/duty for being indebted to Reiji. I can definitely see that she cares for him a lot, but she’s still an assassin before she’s a woman; and an expert in suppressing emotions at that. She simply wouldn’t allow any excess baggage get in the way of business; she’s a real pro.
Scythes is a superb and very proud artist. He must have seen and analyzed such a turn of events from the get go. What made me think less of him however is the fact that he almost wet himself in fear when he looked straight into the eyes of death. He ran for dear life as he never would have calculated what his malfunctioning creation would have done. I was even more irritated on how he had easily picked himself up just right after the sudden twist and acted as if he was so damn cool.
Although I don’t really hate him more than that, I still find it very ironic that he practically owes his life to Ein yet what she did could only be justified as the fruit of his labor. All I'm saying is there's no need to give him much credit for anything. As for his new toys, it's more than way past about time to see them in action. Just how many episodes do we have left anyway?
Well, at least it seems like I can count on *Fak_ku* here to get the job done if all else fails. (If you do succeed, I might consider hiring you for future endeavors)
He's well aware that it was his fault for getting her this much involved but neither do luck nor misfortune has anything to do with it.
While I don't know if she had completely "destroyed that perfect image of Reiji" you spoke of, Drei just loves to annoy people nowadays and that’s just what she did. Either way, they did promise that they’d be together forever so what’s surprising about a child clinging onto her childish delusions? She DID LOVE Reiji anyway, in the not so distant past. But now that she has clearly declared a death match, that’s what exactly she’d get. COME ON EIN, I'M ROOTING FOR YOU!
Near the end of the episode more or less.
Btw, rather than speculating, you're merely guessing.
Not bad, your post provided me with enough foundation to build on my own opinion.
HAHAHAHAHAHA! Yeah Das, don't be SHY!? We know you've got some things to say and deep down you wanna spit them out. Sure, we'd love to hear your thoughts OLD-timer. :D
EDIT: I ALMOST FORGOT!
@Whomever thinks Ein would die: FYI, SHE’S FUCKIN IMMORTAL!
She was shot once around the liver and not so long after, she takes another bullet right into her chest. HECK, DOES SHE EVEN AGE?!
Sorry but she’s just way too AWESOME to die alone and IF ever, she’d surely be bringing some company.

She simply wouldn’t allow any excess baggage get in the way of business; she’s a real pro.
Perhaps Jealousy was a loose word to use but there was a little emotion. Rage? Not sure, but I think it's definitly something.

Cal is probably going to be interupted by a few or maybe all of the 6 new numbers while toying around with Mio being that from the preview Ein was most likely far from there, or maybe she won't get interupted. Just speculation. Btw, rather than speculating, you're merely guessing.
Nah , since that is probably Scythe's first objective and at the same time taking care of a "Stray dog" I mean come on Scythe knows damn well Cal just used him to get to Reiji and that she would betray him in a heartbeat.

What exactly in my previous statement did you not clearly understand? I never discounted Ein's emotions nor her very special feelings for Reiji. However, I just couldn't agree to the hint of jealousy that you spoke of. Why, because she's not acting on her own selfish reason(s). She's even willing to sacrifice herself for Reiji's well-being; as implied in her (next episode preview) monologue. She even took consideration of Reiji's own feelings (as well as his weakness) and thus determined that going solo was the most efficient course of action to take; unsuspecting of Scythes' latest creations.

What exactly are you disagreeing with? Your own "speculation"?
Look here, there was a mutual agreement between Scythes and Cal. It's not like Cal was the only one who was using Scythes all this time and you seriously must be aware of that somehow. Needless to say, Scythes evidently knows that he's got no full control over her and no such loyalty ever existed in between them. Regardless, he could care less about keeping a "stray dog" for as long as it could be of any value to him. But now that he seems to have finished his ultimate masterpiece, and with that stray dog he has kept until now running amok, it comes without any surprise at all that he no longer has any further use for a rebellious pet; disposing of it like thrash rather easily.
If ^this is basically what you're saying, then there's nothing for us to argue with. As for your speculation, you lacked in providing any reasoning behind your quite invisible base of evidence therefore I thought you were guessing.
Btw, could you clarify what you were referring to as "Scythes' probable first objective"? If you meant to say that he had planned on eliminating Cal from the very start then I would have to disagree. Cal sure is very skilled and he most likely would have continued on using her. It just so happens that things have come down to this. If not for a particular mission which required them to travel to Japan, Cal would have never known that Reiji was there, or if by chance Reiji and Ein were somewhere else, Cal would have went back to US without much of a fuss. In other words, Scythes wouldn't have been forced to bring out his trump card(s). Well, this must be their fate somehow... If there's one thing I'm certain of, everything's going accordingly to none of the characters' plans but to the already predetermined, written story itself.
PS: Seems like we failed in trying to get Das' post.. You really shouldn't have used the word "SHY". (but at least I got so much lulz from it!) I'm still laughing just thinking about it. As if that old timer will ever shy away from posting. I bet he's barely holding on to his consciousness from drinking so much malt.

Why all the hate for Ein? I'd rather have Cal to have a miserable death! When She was a kid (*cough* 2 years younger) she was cute but now she's just an oppai with a huge ego. She needs a serious character development for me to still take a liking to her...or just turn back to how she used to be.
Besides that I also hate the fact Ein decides to go hunt Drei down, wasn't this Reiji's personal vendetta? Instead she just nods at everything Ein tells him! Grow some balls, college boy! Really, he was so cool during his phantom era.
And I'm somehow getting this feeling the preview pretty much spoiled the whole outcome for the next episode. Ein speaking about evidence she has lived...what could that possibly mean!? I seriously hope I'm wrong there.
