Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Rating: 10/10

I loved it. I felt emotionally connected to so many characters (Scar, Wrath, Pride, Al, Lin, Hughes, Hohenheim, the list goes on). It was an epic journey to watch. I'd recommend it to any anime fan.

Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge

8/10

Only one episode is out so far, but i kinda like the idea with an obsessed/stalking main characters for once that might develop into a nice story with horror and comedy at the same time :P but we'll see how it turns out

So good but it could have been a bit more better, I think.

Death Billiards, 7.5/10

Another short from Anime Mirai. The animation wasn't as good as LWA but it's good nonetheless. I liked the characters, the story, and the overall atmosphere that the OVA had. Saying any more would be spoiling so I'll leave it at that.

I give Death Billiards a 9/10. For such a short anime of just one episode, it is really thought-provoking. Great animation/production value and great story and execution.

Also just finished watching Jojo's Bizarre Adventures (2012). A solid 9/10 for me, I would even give it a 10/10. No explanation needed, it's just fabulous in all ways.

pretty good for an OVA done by the young animators training program, just like Wasurenagumo I wish they would make more of it because it had an interesting concept and was animated well.

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo - 8/10

It was surprisingly good. Good animation, a decent soundtrack and opening/endings - I mean, come on. Who here didn't bob their head in rhythm to the second ED? - and memorable characters. While the first half was good, I believe that the second half was where it truly shone. Episode 23 in particular.

EDIT:

Tiger & Bunny - 7/10

Overall, I think that it's a good anime to watch. It has a unique story, one that reaches out to the Superhero-lover within me. Personally enjoyed the first OP/ED songs, but that's just me. Animation was good - though it was easy to spot the differences between the CG (?) among the normal images. The characters were more-or-less detailed in the story, with some character development - not exactly the pinnacle of the art, but good nonetheless.

The ending was such a teaser though.

Tari Tari - 8/10
Now, I may be a bit biased since this was done by P.A. Works and they're kind of my favorite animation studio. Anyhow, what really got me for this series was the music. Which should make sense since half the plot is about music in various ways. Animation is crisp, and I think this is the first time that I can actually recall P.A. Works throwing in character's actually...being human if that makes sense? They do a good job in other shows (True Tears, HanaIro) but I really noticed things like drumming of the fingers, twirling hair, things that I saw people at school doing when they were thinking or nervous, etc...I was really impressed by that and I think they kinda got the whole daily school thing down in this. (Also, thing like multiple conversations happening at once and talking over each other)

On the other hand, I feel that the ending was a bit rushed. Now, I haven't read the light novel it's based off of so I'm not sure what the pacing in that was but...I'm really hoping that they can release an OVA to kind of follow up on the quick ending. I feel that for the most part, the students personalities weren't overdone (on occasion maybe) and it generally tended to feel natural. It'll definitely be going into my "watch again" folder.

Fractale - 8/10
Man, I really loved the animation/art style. Music was good, was too short though. I think they could have pushed 26 episodes, but not sure if it was an original concept or based off something. Characters take a bit of time to follow but, it's quite interesting how they portray the "good side/bad side." I'd say it's a solid watch if you want something short and kind of unique, at least from my knowledge.

Despite the negative reviews, upon a whim I decided to add Gundam Age to my list of downloads.

I thought I should give it a chance. Maybe I'll be able to actually enjoy it even for a little bit just as how I was able to enjoy S-Destiny before.

Boy I was wrong. It was so bad that I wanted to delete the whole series from my Hard drive though having only watched 5 episodes [size=10](I manage to endure till the bitter end - ep49[/h]).

The character design is meant to appeal to kids, though I feel that some of them are just copies of characters from other kids anime that I watched before.

In regards to the story, despite having 49 episodes, it feels inadequate and rushed (not that I wanted more). The plot development is boring.
It is divided into three arcs, having a generation of the Asuno family(Flit, Asemu, Kio) being the main protagonist on each arc (the main idea is to have a gundam series that will appeal to children). It had many great ideas for the plot but the director/writers failed miserably at the "execution" of said story line.

The animation quality is standard, standardly-poor, though the Kio Arc employs 3d animation for the Dragon-like mobile suit SID, it's not a redeeming factor.

Honestly, there are countless of anime out there better than this one.
But if you feel like punishing yourself or torturing someone without actually hurting the body physically then feel free to watch this series.

Just finished rewatching Strike Witches Season 2 and although the ending was forced it is still one of my favorite shows and I love the characters, hopefully there will be a season 3

Rewatching FMA:Brotherhood. So fucking good. Episodes 26 and 62 always make me tear up and feel like crying because the emotion level in this show is so strong, the OST is crucial and they time all this shit perfectly that I get so emotional.

9.5/10.

I adored it so much. Amazing and far better then I expected.

It was good but I was expecting more. I'm also mad at the lack of pictures of Schokolade and Chinatsu.

Visions of Escaflowne.

10/10, I just think it's amazing :3.
Great story.

Neon Genesis Evangelion:

I was too young when this anime came out, seeing as how big of an impact this show made in Japanese Pop culture got me curious to watching it.

Early episodes are fun to watch but the show gets a little bit disturbing as it progresses.

still I love it.

Im thinking about rewatching it myself. I watched the first movie when it came out and I saw the show when I was a kid and didn't fully understand. That will probably change though.

Im watching baccano right now! Its halarious and awesome I will never keep track of all these characters though.
8/10 (I know the allure is the large cast but it gets incredibly confussing sometimes.)

OMG! I just finished watching "The End of Evangelion" and it's undeniably one of the most disturbing things I've seen so far in an Anime.

From cannibalism, to strangulation, to a giant marshmallow-like Rei Ayanami and Unit 01 getting crucified, it's super disturbing.

I think hard-core eva fans would like it though.

Even though I don't fully understand the ending, I'm giving it a score of 7/10 for artistry (for some reason it has the feel of a French art film I used to watch, distubing but entertaining)

That series is next on my anime list. After reading the lightnovel "Durarara" and watching it's anime, I'm looking forward to see another series made by Ryogo Narita.
I'm gonna start watching the anime after I finished reading Volume 1 of the lightnovel.

Yes! End of evangelion has a lot of strange parts! I met spike spencer (shinji's english voice actor) and he even said he found it very odd)

Baccano is great! Im sure you will love it! I wasn't too crazy foe durarara but it wasn't terrible!
I hope you finish it soon and we can talk about it =D. With 24 characters I feel im going to miss some stuff that talking to someone may fix!
