As the person who gets the make the final call on this I decide how to solve the issue in the case. The sheer number of users complaining doesn't outweigh logic in my opinion, not when it's on one person to decide. Of course I only listened to the benefit of keeping Koko, it's the only thing I asked for. The others on Fakku who don't provide much benefit weren't all banned 40+ times so it really is a matter of risk vs reward here, I need to know what the reward is.

I see... So what kind of reward would be considered appealing by you, in manageable terms and considering that she will retain her persona but within the limits of rules? A chance to piss off the kids in ib/ctfg doesn't cut it right.

I'm not going to build your case for you, you know where I stand on this. If it's something you/others want it's up to you. The idea of angering people is attractive but as you've noticed I'm being a good mod right now so that won't be enough of a reason.




Not if his reasons are personal... Jake met her in real life and she didn't seem crazy, that's not justification to allow her to come back but it's a personal reason for him to try and side with her, so if op has something similar(personal non logic based reasons like friendship) then it has nothing to do with the case and trying to force that out of him is only going to make him run away. I need people to talk which wont work if they're bullied for stupid reasons.

It's like you're going into a debate and attacking your opponent rather than his points... it's a good tactic in an argument but it wont win you anything in a debate.

He doesn't have any, and likely won't be able to provide any, because he thinks personal feelings count as logical backing. I didn't ask him for his logical backing after this reply, I wanted to know why he decided to side with Jacob; is it because he likes to support the underdog? Respects Jacob's opinion? It's more about who he is as a person rather than the debate itself. I do realize that this isn't entirely related because of that.

On topic though,

People constantly bitch about the state of the community, "there isn't as much going on, it's boring and uninteresting, not what it used to be". I think the major point Koko has going for her is entertainment. Drama does in some respects help a community grow and stay interesting and this is basically what a lot of users have been asking for. For something to happen, for there to be a single object they can collectively rally against without stepping on toes and ruining relations. It's something that can be discussed other than random image macros, YouTube videos and Tegumi obsessions. Which, if taken from a utilitarian standpoint, provides a decent amount of benefit.

That's my argument for her, Koko drama is the most community centric subject to arise in a while. On the other hand there's a mountain of evidence against her coming back and a lot of butthurt.

I think she should be unbanned, if only for "teh lulz". But I think she should stay banned because it probably wouldn't be the logical choice as far as the debate has gone.

She should stay banned. I have never met her, but I am willing to take the responsibility for aiding in the banning of a person that voices the need to redeem themselves on Fakku. I have many reasons, fair or not they are my reasons for this choice. She causes too much trouble just from being mentioned casually, already there are many posts in this thread that are vehement and barely related to the topic at hand. Fakku is not even that important to her, as she has shown from her reckless behavior, it's a nice place to be around but it's not integral to her life so perma-banning would not greatly impact her life that heavily. Even if she truly seeks to redeem herself, she still broke the perma-ban limit and must take responsibility for her actions.

Is there solid evidence that she will repent if freed? Even if my vote is sealed, I feel it would be unjust to judge her without all the facts and it's hard to believe that she's done such terrible things with little attempts for redemption.

The thing is, Koko, it's not only about you and the mods.
This is a community, and if everyone hates your guts, then you don't belong here.

As much as I liked you as a person (I never had a problem talking to you), I don't think what Waar did, assuming you're talking to him, is wrong. And please do understand I don't particularly favour Waar over any other mods here. I have respect for him and will give him when it's due. Trivial things aside, let's get started.

Let's get this clear first. Waar is one of the Global Moderator of Fakku, and I can confidently say that he's the closest one to us members of Fakku. Waar has a responsibility, among many, to keep order and "peace" in IB and other places.

Jacob did let Waar to decide whether the ban given to you should be lifted or not. As someone who has that responsibility to keep order in the forum, I personally think he has the right to ask for an opinion from fellow members, unless you have something that can invalidate my opinion about this one.

I admit, not many responded greatly about the idea of lifting your ban, but I think it's not unjustified, considering how many of them didn't like how hostile you were towards them, and your hostility isn't what people would call justified.

But please do remember, in one of Waar's post he said he ALREADY had his own opinion about this issue, so it's not exactly he's hiding behind a crowd. In fact, I'd laugh if anyone thinks that way, considering Waar is one of the most confrontal user in Fakku.

I'd appreciate it if you'd read this carefully, and just to let you know if you didn't know this already, I'm not posting this to point fingers at you, or backing up Waar and everyone else.
