"All of the main characters introduced so far are male, but please feel
assured that there will be main female characters, including Stella and a
female knight."
I assume the female knight is the girl we saw in the trailer:
While watching the new trailer my jaw dropped. Then I had to come to my senses and tell myself this game has been teasing us for better half of a decade... I really hope it comes out in the next year, but I will believe it when i see it on the shelves.
The trailer looked good, but it's hard to get excited for it when Xenoblade and Xenoblade X were developed while FF15 has been in development hell. There's also something to be said for the unintentional hilarity of having a bunch of dudes, some of whom wield short-range weaponry, driving a convertible where giant turtles can show up nearby and also fight knights with automatic weapons in an open field.
I don't understand why with Square does their english voices always sound weird. I am finally getting somewhat excited for this game, but when it gets a definite release date I will hold back my enthusiasm a bit.

Who knows WHEN we will get a release date, I would be surprised if we got one before/at E3.
Bumping the topic because I'm surprised no one is talking about the more detailed gameplay footage we've gotten recently. Game is looking seriously amazing so far.
>you can actually bump fists and high five your bros after a good play
I can't say yet if the game will really be GOTY potential yet (it has a lot to live up to), but I can very confidently say, it's the most bromantic video game in a long time.
Don't have a ps4 yet but I'm hearing some good things from people who have the demo. I've seen the Ramuh summon on YouTube and oh my god it's glorious.
