I liked this series too, surprising that it's not an anime. Most western cartoons usually do not have a plot or storyline (like most animes do)and when they do it tends to be only a few episodes. But Avatar is almost as good as any anime with a good storyline.

by far the greatest anime on american tv right now. and episode 10 and 11 are awsome. cant wait to see what happens to uncle iroh and zuko that should be intreasting.

But yeah it is really good, it really gets going in the 2nd and 3rd seasons. I'm almost caught up in the show.

Ahh, thanks for the heads up. I had actually forgotten about it with end of the semester stuff keeping me busy(all done now). 309 was the last episode I'd watched, upon seeing this I've gone back and watched 310-312. I must say, they were pretty good episodes, especially 10 and 11. +rep for reminding me I had an hour or so of avatar to watch. :)

I never liked Avatar, mainly because people think it's anime. Also, I don't like it because it is on Nickelodeon, (That's never good) and it's WAY too childish.I'm sorry dude, but have you even watched it? It's full of mature things with a lot of plot twists. Some childish jokes here and there but it's not just a "children's show" and it's definitely not anime.
