From what I've heard, there's going to be more Avatar. Three one-hour specials are supposed to come out in 2009 or 2010. The source was this ad-type page from Nickelodeon that had a timetable of sorts. (Wish I had saved that picture . . . ) Of course, the page said that the end of Avatar would be in May, not July, so it can't exactly be trusted.

Still, there's a chance more Avatar will come, especially if the live-action movies do well.

There better be more Avatar, because I just watched the ending, and now I'm pissed.

The firelord fight was excelent... but after the fight ended i thought that they basicaly "sprinted" to the f'n "the end" page bs

Avatar is great because it is something most people have failed to make for years already. All these cartoons are crap and about stupid characters these days, like SPONGEBOB. Avatar actually provides better fight animations compared to most animes as well. Also I appreciate the art and cultural references the show uses.

Eh, I don't like spongebob, but that doesn't mean I have a grudge against people who like it. It's fine if you like silly humor like that. I mean I like Invader Zim and its a bout a retard alien and his retard robot in a retard infested Earth.

So, I guess there's a little project on deviantart concerning avatar. Some people are getting together to create an animation of the series finale, except it will end with Zuko/Katara getting together instead. They've gotten Dante Basco to voice Zuko.

Disappointed with the casting...

I say the movie will suck. I doubt they'll be able to recreate the awesome fights and effects used in the cartoon.

I have no idea who any of those people are.
