the ending was really good (if its truly the ending). but if it was an anime for sue someone would have died. so a huge battle of war like proportions going on and ends with absolutly no casualties kinda reminded me of the targeted age group and how it had to be limited in terms of raw violance. to me avatar is wasted storyline on nick and if was targeted for more mature viewer say... 13+, it would be able to reach its full potential... i mean c'mon earth, wind, water, and fire manipulations aside from lightning and even metal could have been pushed to the limit of one hell of a demanding series. the main characters being under 16 was a downside too a created some problems with raw emotion. anyways im just sayin that this show could have made a bigger more respectable animation impact if this animated world wasnt limited by small child impacts creating limitaion.
-lol series was hella sik though.... hope it aint done with.

A new Avatar MMORPG will be coming out soon, presumably like World of Warcraft or Everquest
Mike made it clear that at least the first live action movie is a very faithful retelling of Book One: Water.
Zuko finding Ursa was actually storyboarded for the finale by Avatar Director Joaquim Dos Santos, but was nixed by Mike DiMartino - not really sure why.
The lion turtle taught Aang how to spirit bend (Bryan called it "unbending", but still not clear exactly what to call it).
Aang can spirit bend or take other people's bending away at will, it wasn't just a one time thing.

Yeah, I actually don't think it's over either. The fact that they have a sub title "the last airbender" makes you wonder if there could be other avatar shows with different characters comming.
The series was great. I just wish it wasn't made for children and wished the art could have been better. The architecture was great in that show.

They've hinted at there being more, but it's a long way off from airing.

The ending was great but still kind of unfulfilling. I mean we didn't see much action and movement from each character. Also teh ending was jsut...I wanted them to at least to one of those "10 years later..." things.

I stopped watching it after the first season because they kept replaying it over and over. Dx
I like it but I don't love it.

This is a great cartoon series. It's actually original, something hard to find nowadays ;)Too bad the ending wasn't too fulfilliong. It was too rushed. They could have at least stretched it out for 2 mroe episodes.

I second that. I felt they rushed it as well.

It would have been better if Nickelodeon had actually treated Avatar with some respect. If they'd shown a new episode every week and kept the series going, it would have been so much better. Dropping the show for six months was bullshit.
