Dakimakuras anyone?

I own a few; pretty much everyone gets their start with covers from AmiAmi/Hobby Search. AmiAmi has definitely expanded what they carry these days, but a year or two ago, they only carried big name company covers like Cospa/Chara-Ani, and so on. I stopped collecting them once I got into circle covers; I personally feel as the quality is far lacking when compared to circle covers but some people like them a lot.

Materials are stupidly confusing, especially when you consider the various manufacturers and production types (roika, smooth knit, tricot, etc.) Pearl Roika is Seiren's primary material. Honestly, there's no other way to describe it than that. I've seen it interchangeably called both 2WR and 2WT. I think the material composition is closer to the 2WR mark, but as I said, materials are stupidly confusing.

And about material, imma just have to find out the difference myself. Thanks for the info, as always.

Just to add more about how awesome this is. This is one of the best investments(if you can call it one) I have made in awhile. I actually changed the position where my pillow was first at, and now, it is just heaven when I hug it. And I do think the pillow does play a part in it, aside from the material of the cover.

Yes, pillows used makes a huge difference, which is why I would dare say the feel of A and J's pillow is better then most pillows maybe saved for Brocolli's dream master(But that has only has 150cmx50cm configurations).
It feels heavenly especially if you have covers made of A and Js 2WT material.

After being screwed by my local post office, I finally got my stuff after a week.

A towel and a Daki(two of each, as usual.)


Towel is kinda small but still very nice.

Well, it's supposedly sent out on the 25th. But I havn't received it yet though, so I mailed SMJ a couple of days ago to check it out. If it isn't in by tomorrow , guess I'll have to mail them again.

Ticket was ~600 euro, I came from Ireland (heading to the philippines for my grandmother's 90th birthday party now). I meant travel within japan though, the flight isn't included in the 200k D:

I used to keep 3 pillows on a super single, but I eventually found it ridiculously cramp. So I put one under my bed. When I sleep, if I'm very exhausted, I'll dual wield(Hold one each in hand) and sleep. Otherwise I just put one to the corner of the bed and just do a full hug on one.

Yeah, even stuff being sold at original price without any discounts works out significantly cheaper if you can just directly buy it there without all the proxy nonsense. Why can't everyone just ship internationally... ;(

I remember reading about dakimakuras cover being okay to stretch, but what if it is stretching it almost a feet? Theres this particular one that is sized 120x40 that I want, but shit, I'm scared that a feet of stretching is a bit too much.

Errr, no, that is too much. Stretching is only viable when the size difference is about 10cm.

in that case you can get pillow filling and stuff it yourself =P works fine for me.
