Dakimakuras anyone?

So far, this is my end of May orders. And I'm pretty satisfied with my choices.

Looking good. HOP/Ask stuff is always nice, though HOP has had their stuff unfortunately censored every now and then. :/

Ah yeah, hadn't even realized it was 120x40 until you mentioned it. Though it really does make sense given that it's a definite loli cover. Don't get me wrong, I'd probably prefer the 150x50 version, as bigger is always better, but I always did find it strange that loli covers didn't opt for a smaller size; they either went with strange proportions for the character or had a lot of wasted space near the bottom.

Looking at some of the Twitter messages, it looks like willowywicca already mentioned it, but I'd say there's some chance that they'll do a 150x50cm version. As far as I know, the loli Touhou sisters set was the first they did at 120x40cm and about two weeks after they added the 150x50cm version. That was fairly recent, too; only about a month or so ago.

Lame, that really sucks. Hopefully they'll do a second reception at some point or some pop up on YJA at a reasonable price. :/

Exactly. Morbid, but exactly. Anyone have any solutions? We should come up with some sort of automatic mailer or lockbox with an address on it declaring who to send the box to in case of emergency or death. ;)

I actually have given some thought it at one point. I have a couple of friends I know who are casually into dakimakura covers, and I'd probably give my best friend the ones I know are his favorites. Obviously unless you're stricken with some illness and know you're going to pass sooner than later, you won't really have any time to prepare beforehand. If I ever had any reason to think I was going to die, I'd probably come up with a rough inventory and list the approximate market value of each. No idea how family would go about selling them, probably through a proxy on YJA or something (and I've have to provide explicit instructions, I'm sure) but if put even a bit of money into the hand's of my family/friends it would probably be worth the effort.

If I ever reach a point in my life where I don't want my dakimakura covers anymore, I'd probably try to find a way to unload them quick while recouping some of my investment. If I had a lengthy amount of time to do so, I'd probably look into listing on YJA, piece by piece. Or if I needed to unload them fast, I'd probably try to do a bulk auction of some sort.

and yet they keep coming. i've thought about maybe having burn them into ashes and mixed with mine lol maybe not but who's gonna want um, these not so fresh pillowcases? lol in your case, sash, you can actually sell em, but for people that use these for their purpose, no way o.0

Yeah, though in my case I wonder how well they'd sell. I could give my word that 99% of my covers touched more than my freshly washed hands (I don't even open a box until I wash my hands), but it doesn't change the fact that they're open and people will always suspect the worst.

I've decided to pass them down to the next generation, I need that perverted spirit to live on after I die.
And hell, I've got more then a 100 of unopened covers. SO I have no issues there.

Hmmm... What would I do? Like Dfan said, I'd probably burn em. Since I do actually sleep with them, and I'm sure no one would want it. And like Shashin even said, they'll always suspect the worse. Selling em would be a tough job!
