The Twins is definitely one of my favorite covers ever. And damn, if this thread is any indication, competition for the Cresta cover is going to be fierce. :PI WILL get 2 copies no matter what. You guys will win if you willing to throw 40k a pop though.
Bold words.
But I think I'm dropping out of this fight with that.
You're willing to spend almost $500 each for 'em??
Well, of the 400 odd covers I have 60% of them cost 300 and above. So yes, I'm willing to shell out that amount of money if needed.
AND DAMN, I want that new carnelian cover so bad.
http://stylus-inc.jp/hanamakura.html
So...60% of 400 is 240. 240 covers at $300 a piece.......
Are you going to tell me that you have spent $72,000 on dakimakura?!
If that's the case, dude, you could have put a sizable down payment on a house, or bought a Porsche!

From what I can tell, it's allowed to be ordered until the 29th April, and then it will ship on the 29th May. It just has some slightly odd wording in the red text beneath the price.

Yeah, orders are being taken to 4/29. Pulling up the actual page myself, the Notes at the bottom say they're scheduled to start shipping in late May. The closest it gives to an exact date, is the "Date of issue" near the top in the product information, which is listed as 5/29.

Thanks for the examination, guys. I had the same conclusion as well, but when Yokatta sent the mail saying it'll take seven days to receive at their warehouse after 29th, I was like, "I thought it was late May o.O?" I didn't send them that though, I just thought that in my head.

I guess it's possible that they were told something different by Toranoana, but I'd probably go that it was a mistake on their part. If you should receive it before the 5/29 date, then awesome but I wouldn't expect it. ^^

Not really, a average home here cost around 300k to 500k(My currency which is 1 : 1.25 to the USD) here. And a car, well let's just say it cost double the amount of money then you would need to pay then in the US.
So no, even with the amount of money I've spent, I can't do shit. At least not in my country.

Well, I would say it's a mistake on their part, and I mean if they have screwed me before, charging much more then I would have to pay for a couple of covers. I don't see why they would not screw up over something like this.

hey guys. i don't kno if this has been asked yet or not, but how do you guys clean ur dakis? It's been posted several times on the board, but things get lost easily here.
So...
When washing, safest way is to handwash, use gloves if you have long fingernails to prevent your nails from snagging the fabric. You don't want to create a loose tear on such expensive fabric. Using normal detergent is fine. If there are any stains on it, turn it inside out because stains will sink to the bottom of the fabric. That will help you get rid of most stains.
If you happened to get humidity stains(Yellow patches), those are a nightmare and occurs with covers that have not been washed for a long time. Those have to be cleaned with Vinegar.

so machine washing is out of the question? even on gentle? You can,If you want to. Most covers come with washing instructions and most suggest it's fine with a gentle cycle.
It's just that handwashing is more recommended. particularly when there are stains involved.

My BWStore saber arrived today:

Came with a cute white day saber card as you can see.
Back of the packaging:

Close up of the card:

Full front:

Close-ups:

If you look at the fabric coming off her belt on the right, there's a weird bit of the same color on top of it too. From zooming in on the preview image for the cover on the store, I'm not 100% sure whether it was a manufacturing error, or an error in the original image, I think it may have been in the original image.

Full back:

Close-ups:

The last BWStore release I got was Sena, which I was quite unhappy with the print quality on it. Thankfully this time around, the overall print quality is excellent (with the exception of that mistake on the belt region - which may not be a mistake on the manufacturing end). It also seems to be extremely heavy, I'm not sure if my normal 3 clothes pegs method will be able to support the weight for hanging.

Spoiler:
Just beautiful. And I do notice that mark you are talking about off of her belt. It is crazy how you catch these things.

The 2nd one is the Erika Sendou bedsheet shown about half way down on:
http://www.dannychoo.com/post/en/1646/Dakimakura.html
For the others, I'd recommend linking to the actual sale posts on mandarake rather than merely the images, since the descriptions of the items can be quite useful in tracking them down.

Yeah, what willowywicca said. The item's description is almost always more useful than Mandarake's product image, unless you happen to be familiar with the cover already.

The third one appears to be this: http://dive1.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-887.html
The first one I can't find from searching dakimakura on mandarake, so I guess it's a bed sheet or blanket or cushion or something... Anyways if you want more help on it give the product description page link.

Generally for things like company sheets and such (at least one of the ones you linked is by Sofmap) they use SK, which is the cheapest material. It doesn't stretch and it's pretty smooth, but pretty prone to lines from folding. It's an okay material if you want to display something but I don't really care for it myself.
