I don't like people who talk crap against other people.

Whaddayamean doe?

Fo' sho' no bitch ain't got nuttin' .....

Jesus, I couldn't last two sentences. Pretty much the second answer, as long as it accurately shows the flow of conversation and doesn't devolve into something that can't easily be read and understood.

A translation should stand to emulate the original. If the original is written in slang, then the translation should attempt to emulate that slang, within reason.

This ain't got nothin' to do with being a 'Grammer Nazi'.

I find no reason in criticizing work I wouldn't take the time out to do myself, though I'm quite fond of troll subs.
Try to be a bit more tolerant.

As long as it sticks to the original text, and it's not something made up by the translator, I don't really care. As long as it doesn't go overboard.

I like it when translators make it sound natural like actual people are talking. That's why I can't stand CGRascal's shit, because it sounds completely unnatural.

I don't mind it as long as that the person doesn't go overboard.

It's fine when they have to use a different dialect. Just don't be stupid with it

I dont care if they talk weird, as long as that is how they are supposed to talk, or it aint to weird. If it is natural conversation, or the character normaly talks "liek diz" it aint gonna bother me

As long as the translator doesn't fuck up the whole thing until I lose my mood, its cool.

Seeing as we're talking about Hentai instead of translations in general.

I can't say i care about some slang.

But does my opinion change with normal manga/game translations?

Not really but I'll be unhappy if it detracts from my enjoyment of it.

In the end complete butchery is a problem, not a dash of slang.

It's entirely dependent upon the situation at hand. There are some quirks and accents in other languages, particularly Japanese, that just don't translate well into English. Times like these, it can be necessary to utilize another type of slang in place of the original to provide the right kind of idea to the reader, and I support this sort of thing.

Obviously any serious translation group should strive to eliminate all typos, and get to the most correct form of English they can manage with the staff at hand.

Well, I guess the lack of a middle ground leaves me in a weird way.

How about some kind of "Only when contextually appropriate," option?

It is how people talk and that is how a language evolves in terms of slangs, but to make everyone sounds like they have a problem with their brain while talking is another issue...

People read hentai? That's what books are for.
