Nope. I also don't wanna get married.Seconded. I see absolutely NO redeeming factor in having a child. And I would be a horrible parent anyway, hitting him/her as soon as I get utterly annoyed.
About the marriage, I don't see myself meeting a woman meeting my expectations to such an extent to make me commit my life to her. Although this is a case of 'You-never-know', so I'm still open for this at the moment.
People marry far too quickly nowadays, as if it's nothing.

I hope to have kids in the future, just remind myself of what I enjoyed so much about being a kid.
I see raising a good child as another chance to contribute a little something to our race for better or for worse. I guess philosophically I see it as just my little way of knowing that time continues to move forward for us.

Hell yes I want kids, a few little Mes running around could do the world some good.
Now for seriousness. I really do want a kid, a boy preferably, but I'd be ok with a girl. Really, really want him/her to have red hair like me (it's a decreasing trait people, support gingers for breeding) Another driving force is that I want to be sure that they a child gets better parenting than I did. I've certainly learned a lot from my dad's hands off approach (never around) to my moms dictator status (too strict). I've got a good idea on how to be a good parent; I've certainly got the confidence for it, and my future holds a very promising outlook, which should turn out to be a good place to raise a child.
My only problem is the need for the opposite sex. I have one girl in mind that I could trust to raise a child with me and do it without any conflicting parenting techniques. The thing is, what happens if it doesn't work out between us? I'm a very distrusting person, and just as picky. Finding the right partner is not something easy to come across.
Also, waiting for the poop-incinerating diaper.

Some day when i find the right person in my life yes i would like to have a kid or two (nothing more than that). When doesn't matter for me I'm 26 this year and still looking for the right one.
One reason would be so that when we are older when we can't work anymore because of our age there will be some 1 who can take care of us.

When i'm older yes. However, i would make sure that i'm in a solid relationship and that i have a good job. I would rather not rush the process

Yes, the child may be unruly and horrible, but chances are, if the child is horrible, it'll be my fault. It's not always the parents' fault, but more often than not, it is. If I try my best to teach the child to be good, I'm sure the child will grow up to be a good person. dude, this made my day as a single parent.. makes me want to be a better dad to my kid..

I did use to want kids, but i'm a bit iffy when it comes to being with someone, honestly i'm more interested in having a kid than being with someone for life.
Although if I didn't get a baby girl i'd be dissappointed xD

Indeed (^___^) I seriously think that all single parents rock! All the best in that endeavour, Pops!
More often than not, when an opportunity presents itself or circurmstance demands it, nurturing instincts would usual surface in most people. Naturally, it's wonderful to see you rise to the ocassion of caring for your little one. By no means is caring for kids an easy task >=p All that I can say from my observations of friends who are toying with the idea of having kids is, that how an individual might feel about child-rearing at that instance, is a perfect reflection of one's belief at that moment in his/her life. Priority shifts change at different phases of our life. Children, they are indeed blessings. Most importantly, we try our utmost and consistent best to guide them so that they are empowered to make good choices and hopefully, they turn out to be sensible adults. Heck, I might even introduce H to my mid-teen grandkid one of these days...lol (probably not)

No. They are a waste of time and resources. The time can be spent having sex with the Mrs. and resources spent traveling the world.
If only there was a Mrs. lol.

Would the mom/dad (do not know your sex) not also have a say in the naming of the child?

I want a daughter. Period. Then I can go around bragging to my friends about my cute little daughter.
Though I first have to establish myself. Good job, nice husband, and lots of friends to brag too.

I'd love to have kids <3 At first at didn't but ever since my nephew was born it has changed my mind. I've been raising him since his real father doesn't give a damn about him,so i'm acting as a father stand in. It's great to see how much he changes in the years.
Yes it's a challenge at times especially now,he's going to be 2 soon and he's curious and disobedient but weren't we at that age? Sadly I've still to have a g/f xD so it's probably a long time till I have my own.

I'd say yes.
Someday..
A daughter would be nice...
But could be troublesome.
