@Art... I want to ponder what this next stupid law will be. "If you do not put the items you pick up in a store back where they belong, $200 FINE!!!" I never put stuff back, I just set it wherever I am (terrible I know). OR... "If you do not put the toilet seat down in public places like restaurants, cafes, etc. $500 FINE!!!" I want to say it will be something akin to the cigarette law.

I have met my share of stupid people, but I have banished their existence from my mind so I'm not bothered by it. Thus no examples.

I think to be an idiot is one thing, to be better each day is better.

If you become better each day that passes, there must be one day that you accomplish your goal or become kinda' er... smart.

It became apparent to me a couple years ago that society has gone in the shitter however, I don't feel like the majority is at fault. The majority would like nothing more than to live within they're means but a handful of people which has now turned into two handfuls seems to think that everyone is dirt on the bottom of they're shoes and if they can't make money for them then they are useless.

As much as I'd like to believe the peaceful protests currently going on around the world will solve this global crisis I don't think it will work, sitting around and waiting for the 1% to stop being greedy isn't going to do anything but, from what I've seen the majority has woken up and smelled the bullshit that has been spilled upon our homes and streets. Eventually the anger will build and the people will revolt violently and politicians will be killed at the hands of the people who voted them in. Somehow I see this as history repeating itself as kingdoms of times past have fallen but on a global scale as we now are deep into the internet age. I know my Dad told me life was going to be hard but I didn't think it would be like this but I'll deal with it the best I can.

there is a flaw in the barking dog fines. most dogs don't just bark for no reason. they only bark if there is something to bark at. so if some idiot(animal control persons included) stands there so the dog barks, does that count? this is going to be abused greatly by asshoile neighbors.

I find having to pay for a TV license pretty stupid it costs about £150 a year and you can get a £1000 fine for not having one if you are found to be watching live TV.

I believe it's so the BBC can show their shows with out adverts. I'd rather have the adverts for what little I watch. I still don't get why it hasn't been changed every one seems to think it is silly.

-Overpopulating schools/ the current educational system in general.

-People who dress up their pets.

-Cyclists who ride in the middle of the damned road and then wonder why they get hit.

-People who quote things all the time. Not everything in life is a reference, nor do they need one.

I don't know if this is the case where you live, but in many places it's actually a rule that cyclists have to ride in the road, not sidewalks.

I hate the "rule" of cycling in the road. I hate holding up traffic and they hate being held up, and I much prefer using pathways because pedestrians can just walk around or stop to let me by, so I do. People don't like it, but fuck them. I'm going to ride on the path whether they like it or not.



Yeah I find the TV licensing thing retarded. We're one of the only countries in the world who still charge for TV services.

We're also one of the only countries, if not the only country, in the world who calls an insurance based on the driver's age, driving history and the type of car they're insuring "Car insurance", racking up the price just to simply own the fucking thing. All other countries actually insure the car on its own, and not who's driving it. False advertising I calls it.

I basically can't ride on the sidewalks because there are too many people, but riding in the road gives me a heart attack, what with LA drivers being insane jackasses and all. It makes me tetchy, it does. I love it when there are actual bike lanes!
