-Current night-vision goggles are big, bulky, and inefficient. And my point was that even in broad daylight, you'd be able to see a hostile lurking in the shadows.
-Can't trip up a teleporting person. Still mobile even if someone breaks all your limbs or if you're bound.
I'm not saying that these are great superpowers- but they are useful, even if only slightly and with limited applications.
Alright, I admit the night-vision would be useful. But your second example would mean that someone has to be bound or disabled for it to be useful. Bound or disabled.
