Simple tasks you can't perform

You have any seemingly, or at least to other people, simple tasks that you cannot seem to do? I for one can't do math in my head. I can do basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, but only simple equations in my head; and forget asking me to figure out percents in my head. I was reminded of this today in embarrassment. I had a friend over and we were playing LIFE and I couldn't count all of the money and keep it track in my head without writing it down. Luckily my friend knew of this before hand from a few years ago and just grabbed my money too and counted it, but it was still very embarrassing. I'm not bad a math, per say (except like Calculus) but I just can't do simple problems in my head. I have to use pencil and paper or calculator for seemingly easy equations. It was always very embarrassing in my Algebra 2 class in high school. My teacher always wanted us to do partner math races, and I couldn't do them. Most of the time I was partnered with sympathetic people or people who were not very good at Algebra to begin with, but I had a few nasty experiences as a result.

I was never really taught how to tell time on an analog clock in school, I taught myself but it still takes me a couple seconds

I was kind of like that with the phrases like "quarter till" or "quarter past." Just say :15 or :45 dammit. XD

Can't remember stuff from class. I also can't remember a lot stuff I read on the previous pages of any book I'm reading.

i couldint commit myself 100 percent to highschool nomatter what i did. it was to easy. so i droped out got my ged and went to college when i was 16.... the english classes hurt bad tho.. thats the only thing that gave me real trouble

I'll admit I have problems doing that ever since I was out of high school. I was used to getting up at 6:30 every morning and brushing my teeth and without that schedule I sometimes forget to brush my teeth, even this many years later. >.<
