The Slut Movement - Should it be allowed?
Should girls be allowed to dress however they want even if its totally slutty?

Oh geez, I've never seen so many slaps in the face in one thread.
It's not the girl's fault a guy rapes her. It's the guy himself.
The way you dress has nothing to do with it.
"Asking for it", what a pile of shit. No fence.

Secondly, in upholding that moral standard for myself and others I don't subject others to 'my opinion', or 'my will'. I uphold what I believe should be our standards for humanity.
Those two sentences seem to be contradicting one another.

A world without these moralities, again, is the lowest common denominator of western civilization, it's trash. Sexuality can only be truly open in one place, the bedroom. Anywhere else, it loses it's elegance. It's only in your opinion that sexuality should only be explored in the bedroom and that it has an elegant meaning to it, so you shouldn't state it as though it were fact, especially if it's not accepted as a universal truth.
Fine, it's my opinion. It's an opinion that I think should be more prevalent than it is. The fact that it isn't, is quite sad :(.

I think i posted in this thread already, but now that its become active again i'll just say i don't believe a victim deserves any of the lame for getting raped. I don't care if the women was walking around butt naked. People have minds for a reason, and can think before they act
And this is coming from a guy who has fapped to many a rape hentai

I think it ok to an extent, since no matter how you dress it does not excuse rape, but there is also the fact that form of dress has specific things that define it and it involves sex, so they cannot complain about being hit on constantly or anything like that, and since it is associated with sexual things and kids see them dress like that they can possibly get the impression sex is ok if you dress that way and you know how kids can be irresponsible so it is not a good influence.

Yes. But... how does being dressed (like every law abiding citizen who ventures into the public sphere) some how equate to sex?
If anything, being dressed is the furthest thing FROM sex: it's a sign to people that your body is covered and you want it that way.
Children seeing people scantily clad will not harm them.

This idiotic bitches don't realize it was our plan all along, it's reverse psychology so that they now dress more slutty.
Though they now ARE asking for it.
>Not wearing panties
>Wearing a skirt
Sometimes I wonder if people really are this stupid, or is just a joke...

I voted no without thinking as usual. They should be allowed to if they really want to do that, but I definitely don't find it attractive. They look like idiots. Of course dressing provocatively is going to make people look more and may induce more rape cases, and of course the argument to that is "what does that say about society? It's the rapists fault - they had a choice, were conscious of the consequences and had full control over their actions." But then what's the point of dressing like that, going around saying that you're "sluts"? What sort of image is that? Of course it's going to induce more rape if they're walking around saying they're sluts and love sex. That's not a mature way of promoting female sexuality.

Yes yes, they can dress however they want, as long as we get some of that ass.
and there are far worse things allowed in our society, why something as minor as this shouldn't be allowed?
and for those people saying rape is the rapist's fault, that's true, i agree with you, however, look at this way, if a girl wore some "sexy" clothes, someone is bound to get turned on and want to bang her, well, you figure out the rest. not saying that's a justified reason for rape though, rape shouldn't be allowed no matter what the circumstances are.

Probably about to say some really stereotypical stuff here, but I was browsing threads to check out and in the title of this one had the word Slut. So that pretty much sold me on coming into this thread, as for my opinion I really could care less what anyone wears.

Fuck no, for those of you whom said yes, why? the hell do you really want to get attacked that much? and honestly im the sort of person who stays naked at home i like feeling free winter or summer butt naked but than my wife complains..... wether you say "it's not an invitation to get raped" or not man will get overwhelemed by women somethimes.
well tbh i don't really care i just hope i don't see a traumatazied women on tv saying "i followed the slut movment and i just god raped ( GOD WHY ME "SOBS")" honestly, porbally the biggest problem is that a man might try to stick his in a women "by mistake" if she has a hole or something and who knows what might come worse than thise? everyone is litrelly wearing how they please from full winter style to kinky wear to nude.

In the near future we'll have The Moron Movement and people will insist that it should be allowed only because it's their freedom to be a goddamn moron, and that it's the kicker's fault for kicking their ass for being so stupid.
Smh.

Not even remotely the same thing. Short skirts do NOT have magical powers of magnetism on the human male's penis. It is NOT an unstoppable force that PROPELS a guy's penis COMPLETELY AGAINST HIS WILL into a 'sluttily dressed woman's vagina.
While I agree that the no panties thing is just bad judgement on a woman's part, it is STILL not a red neon sign that says 'Sure, I'll want to have sex with you regardless of whether or not I even know you'. No panties DOES mean she wants to have sex. It just doesn't mean 'come on, any old stranger'. It just doesn't.
The only thing that constitutes an invitation for sex, are the words 'I'd like to have sex with you'.

Wow.
The sheer amount of victim blaming in this thread is legitimately surprising.
I would've expected responses like this from maybe 4chan or something, but I honestly thought the community here was a bit more mature than that.

Nope. This guy is implying that attire is on the same level as mind-numbing stupidity in terms of how rightful it is to oppose aforementioned offending behaviors.

They ARE allowed to dress however they want, but then again they get mad when stared at.
Men should do the same, whip their dick out of their pants and sue/yell at a person when staring at them
PS
If I were the police ociffer I would say: "I apologize for my behaviour..... have fun getting raped" *walk out of the stand*

It's the old "I want to have my cake and eat it too" mindset. Do females wish for males to respect their body, their right to their personal space, etc? That's a fair request. Where it becomes nonsensical is: "Oh, but I don't respect myself at the same time."
You cannot ask for respect, and not hold a sense of dignity for yourself Loli, it just doesn't work like that. Respect is only given to those who respect themselves first.
Rape is the ultimate sign of disrespect, not only to the victim, but to the rapist(in this case, the male rapist), he had so little confidence in successfully courting a woman he had to force her against her will?
I don't respect guys like that, Loli. And it's up to males to hold themselves to a higher standard. For that matter, it's up to society to uphold a high standard.
That means both of our genders.
