Their angle choosing, their animation, their set of action, their emotion, the dialogues, the coloring, the movie clip particle effect, the smoothness of the motion tween

I have always been a bit of a visuals whore. I can usually watch anime as long as it has damn good animation, visuals, or art style. I feel like the art is everything. It sets the tone and mood, etc. Definitely my favorite part of anime.

Characters for me, sometimes I can go around a crap story if the characters interest me enough and so that I can see how they develop.
after the characters then the story, characters and story need to go hand in hand for the complete experience

Art. Characters. VA.
Story is low priority for me. mostly cause every story has already been told, and retold, and retold, and retold, and so on and so forth

definitely story, but art is really important as well. Fate zero second season had the highest quality animation I've ever seen but unique styles such as code geass and gurren lagann have a great impact too.

What interests me in all forms of media (anime, manga, movies, TV Shows, books, etc...) is the story. I view the characters as a part of that story. You can take the same setting/situation and throw different characters into it, but because those characters are individuals you get a different outcome. So to me, anime is just another way to tell a story. But makes anime distinct from other media is the art. I do believe though that the art can make or break a story.

It has to be the story, the story pulls all the elements together... also i have a shirt that says "Hentai: I read it for the articles." and its mostly true.

Story is, without a doubt, the most important key for an excellent anime, in my opinion. Though, I don't think I could watch a story with an unlikable art and characters. So in my opinion:
1) Story
2) draw between character and art
3) voice acting

For me, it's a mix of all these things. There's a balance that needs to be reached for me to really become deeply immersed in an anime.

For me it goes
Story, Art, then characters. The story is the most important thing, everything else is considered a bonus to me.
