WWE WRESTLING

The above predictions by Asuran are pretty much dead-on. But maybe WWE can let Miz win. What better way to push a heel than make it win against an awesome face? The same happened with Chris Jerico's heel turn.

Three Stages of Hell Match for the WWE Championship: Randy Orton (c) vs. Triple H
My only prediction for The Bash is... Triple H... will spit water. ^_^

The Bash results:

ECW Championship - Championship Scramble Match
Tommy Dreamer (c) defeated Jack Swagger, Christian, Mark Henry and Finlay
- Lots of pinfalls, catch-ups and near-falls but I guess WWE's sticking to Tommy Dreamer for a while.

IC Title - Mask vs Title
Rey Mysterio defeated Chris Jericho
- Nice trick by WWE to make Rey wear 2 masks. I mean, why should WWE part with their third best merchandise item right now in this recession? And later I found out why Jericho had this premature title reign.

Singles Match
Dolph Ziggler defeated The Great Khali
- I guess Michael Hayes finally got some creative ideas now for the Kane character.

Triple-threat WWE Unified Tag-Team Championship Match
Edge and Chris Jericho defeated The Colóns (Carlito and Primo) (c) and The Legacy (Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase)
- Is this another Canadian tag-team stable? Smackdown's best heels holding some tag-team gold. Well, we all know what happens to heel tag teams in the WWE, they split over the chase for singles opportunities. Backstage segment is where the writers are starting to show Ted DiBiase finally growing a brain. He's got a WWE movie coming soon so they need to push him as a face in the next few months.

Women's Championship
Michelle McCool defeated Melina (c)
- WWE's trying to push a few heel divas (ECW's got Natalya and RAW's got Maryse) so it's a 60-40 shot McCool's winning this one. And she did. Hopefully we see more of womens' wrestling. God, I miss Trish and Lita.

World Heavyweight Championship
Jeff Hardy defeated CM Punk (c) by disqualification
- Here's WWE pushing Punk as a heel by depicting him as a wussy (scratched eye). Gauging from the audience's reaction, he's still a tweener.

Singles Match
John Cena defeated The Miz
- Cena wins but after reading the WWE after-match results, I think this feud's starting to get a little steam. I mean, can't throw Cena again in the title hunt since it's still an Orton-HHH feud.

WWE Championship - 3 Stages of Hell
Randy Orton (c) defeated Triple H
- I think this feud's not over yet, judging from the ending. Gewirtz's magic fave pairing since Summerslam '04 is Orton and HHH, but I think this feud will be over after 2 more PPVs, like... cuminating in Summerslam.

Rated-Y2J = Awesome

Seriously, who didn't marked out when that happened? I was actually expecting Christian but Jericho is cool too.

Putting the tag team gold around Edge and Y2J would ensure at least a main-event feel to tag-team contests each week on WWE, which for more than a year has been lacking somehow. I mean, The Colons are not main-eventers.

I had so much FUN watching this a few years back. I was addicted to it. (specially those brutal matches like TLC and whatnot)

But now I can't watch it. Only 5% of it are good matches. And 70% of the shows aren't even matches, it's just talk here, talk there (or those special event things). No fun at all. It was good while it lasted though.

Spoiler:
A tribute

I think it's still good to watch even though we all know that it's all just one big act..

Watch Smackdown and I'm sure your opinion on wrestling right now will change. Seriously, that show is must watch TV if you're a wrasslin fan. Promos are kept short and wrestlers resolve their issues doing what they do best... wresling. Yeah, amazing right?

You can thank the Smackdown Six 2.0 for that.

I also love it when Teddy Long resolves everything!!

I stopped watching WWE after the TV-PG rating. But EDGE was always my favorite. Is that boy still doin' his thaang?

;) Man,he always does..! He sometimes gets annoying.

Edge injured. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

:(

Man, that sucks so bad. My good day has been ruined. Also, that shows that he really cares about the fans.

Is it serious?

Pretty serious. He's gonna be out till January 2010.

Oh darn it. Edge's out for now - so most likely WWE will push Jericho as SD's top heel, and maybe CM Punk will be pushed harder as a heel as well.

'tis a sad 6 months to go for SD. Best heel SD has ever had for the past 3 years since JBL.

:) I think I'd go for Jericho..

I love Smackdown's writers. It's awesome that they went with the drug angle between Jeff and CM Punk. I'm more excited about that feud than ever before.

Also, it's a shame we won't be seeing Edge and Y2J team up anymore. That was a sweet tag team codebreaker by both of them.

In 2004-2007, yep they did. I mean, Vince's money has been with Cena in those years. Caps, bedsheets, bling, movies, tshirts, bags, bobbleheads, I mean back then it should have been called CenaShop.com ^_^

On a lighter note, Raw has had already 4 guest hosts.
June 29 - Batista
July 06 - Ted DiBiase Sr.
July 13 - Seth Green
July 20 - ZZ Top

It's Vince's new way of generating both interest and income. Talk about two birds with 1 stone. I'm still rueing... WHY dump Eric Bischoff?? He WAS the best RAW GM ever.

Next week is... Shaquille O'Neal? Damn. But hopefully he'll be in a wrestling match.

Yes Bischoff was great.:}
