I would like to think that there is one, but all the terrible things that has happened in the past has me thinking differently. If I were "God", I would try and make this into a peaceful planet while smiting away evil, or at least wiping all sense of evil out of man.[size=4]But I'd belive in Odin before I'd 100% belive in God.[/h]
I think if god is like on your description I don't wanna worship him. I had enough dictators on my live. beside that what good's to live on that boring life.

I have no belief in "god" or the great beyond.
There is no evidence that suggests that there is.
Specially since that "god" is all powerful and all knowing, the mere lack of evidence of such powerful god means that there is probably no god.
Such as, dinosaurs. Something so big and majestic should leave its evidence of existence, hence there is.
Unlike god that supposedly interferes with each life, there seems to be no statistically significant difference whether you believe or not and your fortune in life.
Uhmm.. sorry there is actually some significant difference however on how you treat other people and the world though... It relates to Percent prison population, just search it yourself.
As well as when non-theists look at the world we go: "SH!T The world is meesed up @_@, need to do something to change this."
P.S.
for the Great beyond thing. I really wish there is one though >_<
I want to know and experience the future.
I just hope scientists finds a way to extend our life >_>
On the mean time, regular exercise and proper diet! Woot!

Yes! I believe in "GOD", and I wonder I hate going to church. But I am the one who make my fate not him.

My experience with organized religion was a little biased, I was punished for asking questions in a lutheran church in my youth. My faith in a higher power honestly waivers, considering the situations I've been in.
As a two-time cancer survivor some say I should praise god for being alive, others that I should damn him for making me do chemotherapy twice before turning twenty one, and it still being ineffectual.
To be honest, I care little for the concept of a higher power since my brushes with death throughout life made me stop questioning any purpose or reasoning and just live life.

Personally, I do believe in God, and I know it's not the topic, but, I believe that all religions who believe in such, only technically believe in a specific idol of their preference, but in fact, they're only worshiping one Supreme Being.
I do tend to have my doubts, but in the end of the day, I revert back to my faith.

Well... I do... but I don't worry too much about it. Really I see no point for me to believe in a god. Since my family strongly believes in God, they believe he wants things to be done a certain way. But really it's too troublesome for me, as I don't care what the future holds.

I believe in God. It's just too hard to believe that this world happened by chance. It got even harder when that Stephen Hawking guy said that this universe can be randomly created out of nothing because something like the law of gravity exists. Just my 2 cents though

I am a scientific man i believe god exists to simply answer the questions we do not yet know. I also believe that god and heaven are simply humans way of being able to "move on" without going nuts because if u seriously think about it everyone is afraid of dying and wouldn't u feel better if u knew ud go to a better place upon death?

Let em ask you then...
Is it better to be happy than to accept what is true?
Is it better to be delusional than to see what is in front?
Is it better to dream than to live?
^_^ I'll let that sink in for a while.
Oh and for those that don't understand Stephen Hawking.
I suggest going through a course in Physics then get a Phd. in Theoretical Physiccs.
Joking aside, I'll try to explain it a bit...
Some Observable "Facts":
There are countless pairs of particles that spring up in empty space all the time.
Black holes diminish in size due to absorption of the anti-matter particle in the pair that springs up.
Empty space has "energy" --- Seriously
Therefore, it is possible to create something out of nothing as long as the energy total of the universe is zero.<
For a more detailed explanation and more info about our bizarre reality, try searching the web and read a lot of science books and experiment to verify yourselves.
Don't be lazy then just rely on your intuition.
Amassing knowledge and searching for it is Hard friggin work...
And you wonder why we get pissed when the thoughts of the thinking scientific community are regarded as equals with the opinions of lay people.

I say yes and no,
I believe in a God,
he did exist,
he is no fraud,
or maybe a she,
or maybe an it,
but pondering that,
will give me a fit,
I believe in a beyond,
the Great abyss,
an unknown path,
that none will miss,
but all in all,
with God and such,
I feel I've already,
said too much.

I do believe in God and if you are refering this "Great" beyond as heaven and hell, well then yes, I do believe in that as well. I am also Christian; Apostolic to be exact, but it really doesn't matter =p
Somewhat as a rebuttle to you athiests out there (lol) what is the serious reason as to why you don't believe in God? Or rather, how can you believe in nothing at all? The famous scientist dude(the one in the wheelchair and speaks through one of those automated voice thingys; I forget his name and I'm too lazy to search the web for his name ;D)recently said that scientifically, there is no reason for God to exist. He said that because of gravity(?) certain events would have happened to create the universe. WTF? Um, where did the gravity come from, buttlicker? According to certain laws of science, you can't get something out of nothing. It isn't possible. But I digress.
Back to the athiests.....what was I saying...
Yeah, so, God is described off and on in one of the most informative and influential collection of words out there: a book. So many other things even imitate or suggest a "higher figure" in life; video games, movies, children's books, but you won't even give it a thought. That's what really hurts.
Long story short, God's cool and we should all give him a chance! He can't be understood, so don't kill yourself trying to lolz. Anyway, I've typed waaaaaaay too much and I kinda wanna get back to playing Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. I love you all and we should totally eat some of my mom's chocolate chip cookies together while playing Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

^Speaking strictly for myself, I don't believe because I see no reason to. I've never been a believer at any stage in my life and I've gotten along just fine. Intangible threats (such as things that happen to me after I die) are hardly scary to me. That "buttlicker" Professor Hawking is certainly not as bright as Ray "Banana" Comfort. /sarcasm

I'd like to say I'm an atheist, or an agnostic but I'm not really either or. When you look at things beyond the human and social spectrum we're accustomed to (looking at things and how they fit into Einsteins general theory of relatively mostly), you start to see how ridiculous the notion of a great beyond or a greater power is. Gravity is and always will be the divine ruler of the cosmos.

Just to put this out there: Saying "I'm an agnostic" doesn't say dick about whether or not you believe in god. It's only an answer if someone asks you a question similar to, "What is your opinion concerning the knowledge of god's existence?"

Which god? Yahweh? Thor? Zeus? The Invisible Pink Unicorn? Flying Spaghetti Monster? Shiva? Raiden? Fujin? Apollo? Haruhi? HANYUU!?(Hauuu~)
Needless to say, Haruhi is the only one true Goddess.
Jokes aside, I don't believe in a (benevolent and) personal god, and I would raise my eyebrow to anyone who would suggest that one exists. (Especially Yahweh)
If someone were to tell me of a deistic god, I'd dismiss them as the information is useless.
Great beyonds? o.o..... *scoff*
Reincarnation? o.o..... *scoff*
