So far I've gotten all but three of the asterisks (Vampire, Dark Knight, & Sage). Need to Level & Job grind quite a bit before I go after the prerequisites to get to the Vampire asterisk. I'm thinking I should at least try to level all the jobs I have so far up to at least level 9 and get my party up from the mid 40s to the 60s/70s. So it might take a while.

[color=#ff69b4]Been playing Bravely Default for about a week now and I love it.
I can tell if I'm over level or under level for where i am right now. I just got to Hartschild and i am level 40 with everyone.

I'll be a regular here soon enough. Planning on transferring 17 streetpass villagers from the demo. Going outside once in a while can be rewarding.

For those that are worried if you're under leveled, you can grind massively at Eternia. In fact, the exp is so slow until you reach Eternia, that I don't recommend you grind at all until then. I easily beat up to Eternia at level 30ish, so it should not be an issue of being under leveled or not.

I think I just found the best way to beat this game on hard all you need to do is get to the job class of ninja and spirit master (so lets say I have Edea and Ringabell as ninja and Tiz and Agnes as Spiritmaster equipped with the brave vest) you use the ninja Shippujinrai which allows you to attack at the beginning of each turn and use the spirit master ability stillness which does not allow anyone to take damage or lets people steal brave points for two turns and just repeat the cycle

very very happy with it so far.

Still in the first area. Been focusing on maxing out the village before going anywhere.

Which is why I never turned off my 3DS from the time I bought Bravely Default until the time I completed the village. I just left it in sleep mode so that it'd keep building.
On another note, I heard about the sequel they're making. Apparently, there might be plans for yearly BD games. So, basically, Bravely Default will become Square's second FF series.

Great game, but I kinda am burned out after being stuck on .
I'll probably just have to throw on magic absorb or something and abuse spiritmaster abilities, but man that's lame that I can't just go through the game using the setup I want to use. At some point I have to resort to overpowered things like Spiritmaster with three Dark Knights, but I guess I could just be bad at this game lol. Either way.
Still love the game though.

I believe my set up for that fight was pretty much just that. 1 Spiritmaster for Fairy Ward at the beginning, 3 Freelancers. All with Dark Knight subclass. Have the Spiritmaster have as much speed gears as possible and abilitied with Haste World (Time Mage). Everyone else gear up for as much HP as possible. First turn Fairy Ward to prevent any statuses, then reduce HP on self as much as possible while keeping chars alive. Then Minus Strike + Absorb Magic away. *BLANK* will automatically keep lowering your resistances and spamming magic, so you're safe.
Heck, after second turn (I assume everything should be stabilized then) you could just put it on auto-battle. I got Unscathed with that fight without stillness abuse.
