I heard about the Painted World... is it worth it? I mean the optional boss...

Dat Wingbat demon... that Great bow... Fuck it... its more frustrating than Blighttown and fucking Sen's fortress..

Currently using the golden hemmed set, Lightning Spear... Please assist me... Some tips please..

the set you're using now is good. also the painted world is worth the travel because there is an ember there also prisillia (however u spell it) is an optional boss so you dont have to fight her if you dont wantto. but remember once you go in it, you must clear it to leave. even the lordvessal doesnt work.

How does one dispose of the Batwing Demons and the Bow Knights easily? I'm having such a hard time

I accidentally killed the first blacksmith so now I won't be able to upgrade past +5 on my Warrior that I got past Anor Londo with. I ended up restarting with a Pyromancer and I'm at the end of Blighttown at the moment. It's nice having spells and stuff but I really think I prefer a high strength character that throws massive swords around, heh.

for the batwings (if they are the things with spears and are white and lightning attribute) learn them out 1 by 1 with a bow or sumthing and back off until u are at a safe distance, blocking their melees will cause them to stagger a bit opening a chacne with oyur LN spear to get 1-2 hits in, however u will get hurt if u block because of elemental damage. u can always roll to the side to avoid them and land an attack in or 2.
as for the Bow silver Knights, run to the point where u are safe near that ledge go to the right side because you will be in the middle of the knights sniping you from your left and right. wait for them to stop shooting then move around the conner and run towards them sprinting stright and then go for the knight on the right. keep your guard up for they can still hit you, when you are near him, he will swap to his sword most of the time or he will keep shooting you( most likely he will swap) then u can get lucky with him where they can fall off from u blocking, or u can easily parry and do a ripose atk (whatever it is called) and it will push them off. (parrying the silver knights are really easy, pay attention to when they are getting rdy to attack, do not panic, when you see the slightest movement hit the parry button and u'll parry.

NG+ is easy so far, just got past Anor Londo. SL 97. As for some of the questions here that i missed: Those monsters that shoot toxic darts in Blighttown, they don't respawn when killed and they die in 1 hit. Poison swamp may be completely ignored because i doubt you can even die from poison. So far my character has no speciality, her stats are all 20 except VIT and END, RES 12. Running around with lighting spear +5 *because it still does good ammount of damage.*

I'm on ng +, in sen's fortress. Running around with drake sword+4, a random assortment of armors (to give a unique look), and switching between a black knight shield and a parrying dagger+5. I'm playing on getting alot of weapons crafted this time around.

Other than that, things haven't been too bad. I skipped alot of bosses though (killed the asylum demon the first time, taurus demon, havel, the big knight dude next to the keeper soul, the hydra, the gargoyles, and quelaag). I'm trying to see how much I can skip for the hell of it.

You can skip the taurus demon if you have Masterkey, just go down the watchtower where Havel is, and exit into the forest

why skip taurus when u can just have a nicely fully upgraded dagger, if you guys are are using dagger, equip with hornet ring and do a pluging, i did it with my fire laito +10 and i hit 2228, 3 more swing and he was gg
have 2 datas, on NG+ now, first one was a test.

Yeah, I think I'm going to make a new file now.
I'm going to try and see if I can eventually make a fighter magician type.
Using dual cestus' or something, I think that'd be pretty funny.

The bow demons were a bitch to get past, but if you have poison arrows you CAN find safe spot to shoot them from and kill them slowly. I eventually gave up on trying to run past them and just waited it out.

I don't parry often, i usually go for the back stab but yeah i'll continue practicing and once I find the time... the torture continues!!

Yeah, but better and harder. Demon's Souls was basically the tutorial for this game.
