you can two hand anything >_>. it doesnt really matter much but pick a weapon that u feel comfortable with, i fell inlove with the laito and i been only using it, aside from messing around with dragon bone fist( SHORYUKEN ).

Stability is so low that makes me cry.No, i'm using BK Shield +5 and can't let go of the L1 whenever i play. As for weapon, i want some good enough weapon that scales with DEX
Crystal ring sheild basically "Feeds" off your Mag, Str, and right hand weapon. I deal around 900+ per shot so it's not useless.
A Shield is not supposed to do any damage at all, which is why it's called a *Shield*. And 900 ATK is not something to brag about.

You guys are using shields the wrong way *although the choice is completely up to you*, and completely ignore my question. At this point it will be much faster to just find the best weapon myself. Never mind then.
there is no "best" weapon in the game and there is no wrong way to use a weapon, all weapons varies between players and their opinion, you mention wanting dex scaling weapons, try the Quelaag Fury, if memory serves me right it is a DEX scaling + humanity boosting weapon.
Also to add the patch is going to nerf and balance a lot of stuff.

Sadly, DEX builds arent as useful now since most melee weapons require STR. I'll just scrap that project and make a mage or knight with magic.

^ Pretty much done with this char but hopefully the DS community will lvl lock at 250 so pvp can be possible with High lvl chars instead of Lv 60+

I just found out about the patch as I can only play the game on the weekends. I read, I believe, an unofficial list of changes on gamefaqs. Is there an official list somewhere?

I see. I think the list I saw is based on that Brett guy testing efforts. I will post the list here if anyone wants to see it.

Anyways made two new characters, a Hunter and Knight. Planning on making making a high END/INT/STR build for the knight and a END/FAI build for the hunter just to experiment a little.

As of now, Japan players has it but we still don't know when it will come to the US. Since we are practically sharing the same server with everyone, it shouldn't be that long till we have it. I expect it will come between next week and before December, which makes it almost a month. I hope it comes as early as possible though.

Gawd. I'm a bit flustered with this game right now. I'm still stuck at Firelink Shrine and no matter where I go, I keep on dying... :\

If not your first task will be to head up the stairs along the cliff wall near the bonfire and keep going through Undead Burg until you reach the top of the church.

Just killed the 4 four kings and noticed I couldn't join the Darkwraith covenant because I messed up in one of the conditions required to join them.
But how was I supposed to know without reading wiki. T_T
SL 62 got the Lava world to go through first then the catacombs.
