Deus Ex: Human Revolution

So, just beat this game after dumping about 20 hours into it the past few days.

Few things I learned, I am goddamn awful at sneaking. I managed to avoid having to kill everything in the building I was in a total of three times, in the entire game.
Next, the 10mm pistol is the best weapon in the game, period. AP, and a laser sight on it, and I just ran around nailing folks in the head. Aside from those limpdicks with the helmets on.

Anyway, I really enjoyed playing it, nice combination of stealth/gunplay, along with trying to hack your way (Or finding a convenient vent or two) instead of kicking the door down and shooting everything.

Now if only I actually knew dick about the storyline from the original, and whatever came after that. Guess I'll have to track them down and play them.

The game is getting a director's cut for the Wii U.

All Wii U games are bad ports.

Wii U: All the fun of the previous generation with added disappointment.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you're only being silly by implying the Wii U only has previous gen ports.

Also if you bothered looking at the link there's clear changes to the game.

Mostly bein' silly. I hear the added stuff in the ports has just made the games worse, e.g., minor batman stuff. As far as I know, the rest of the games aren't worth looking at. You can tell I've done a lot of Wii U research.

I think Nintendo needs to move away from ports of this gen. It makes them look like they're just trying to catch up to PS3 and 360 while they're heading out the door. They need to start focusing on new IPs to strengthen their library.

Yeah the thread has been dead for while.

So I got the game, along with some other games, on Steam when it was on sale a little while back and finally downloaded & started playing it yesterday. I'm playing it on "Tell Me A Story" difficulty right now for my first play-through. I gonna try to do a mostly pacifist play-through but I keep running out of tranquilizer darts. I'm a shit shot with that damn tranquilizer gun. I'm trying to do this one side-quest where you have to find evidence that a cop is dirty and I'm at the part where you have to sneak into a gang's turf, hopefully undetected.
