I agree with Tamamo as protagonist servant if there is ever an anime adaptation, but as long as its the female protagonist i could care less on which servant will be her partner.

That brings up another point should it use the male or female protagonist?

Now having cleared every route with both male and female protagonist for Nero and Tamomo I prefer the male as it seems to fit better but for Archer the female was better because playing as the male protagonist their relationship almost borderlines ga......gar.

Well Nero doesnt really care for the gender of her master while Tamamo will still adress her as Goshujin-sama. As for me the idea of an innocent girl being brought in a world where she needs to kill to live without any idea why feels like it has more impact on it rather than the male protagonist.

While I should point out how you phrased that could sound sexist, I understand what you actually meant by that and do agree that if it wasn't for the theme of romance being so strong in Fate and for mainstream Japan's homophobia, then an EXTRA anime adaptation featuring the female protag. and Tamomo would be ace.

Still, frailty comes in many forms. True it's often easier conveyed when its done so through a late highschool girl, but it can be done just as effectively with a boy so long as you've got the right writer.
_Of course, saying that we still come back to your point and how the female protagonist is designed as opposed to the male one. She's made to be a cute blankslate, whereas the other is a typical blankslate (which is fine by me). Considering she starts out with a firm character trait even before you get to know her, I could imagine adapting her to an anime would be simpler.
Just my hunch, though. Worked out that way for the P4 anime, after all.

Yeah, that's heavily implied with everything that's been said up to that point.

It's all good, though. Research doesn't just die like that. It gets passed on and altered long after it's discoverer dies. Protag might not have Twice to "resurrect" his real self, but with all the time that's passed between the moment he died and the time the story takes place it's pretty much a given that things will work out fine for him thanks to Rin (and maybe Rani, though her ending is less sure for some reason).

Just another reason I love EXTRA. The digital lovers, the Master and his chosen servant, fade away together as the real lovers, Rin or Rani and the guy/girl the Master was based off of, live on into a brighter future.
...Well, I mean, that's what's implied, anyway. Considering the Master is based off the real person it's safe to assume they'll be thinking and acting much like the Master did, and Rin or Rani will be there to help them through, just as they were throughout the war.

It is heavily implied that Twice was the doctor required for the operation on the MC's real self but you would have figured that after 20 years someone would have figured out how to do the procedure.

I still think the male protag suits the story better, but wouldnt it be funny if they used the female protag in the moon cell only to find out that she is really the male protag outside the moon cell.......would completely throw me for a loop trying to guess that.

I really like the FeMC and Archer pairing, especially since the best choices to max rank him make her out to be a less abusive tsundere.
Never played as a tsundere before. It was really fun.

To an extent Medical Science has been know to make sudden leaps and working in a hospital like myself you hear all sorts of information that I cant disclose.

And yeah it stated Caster was the hardest route but Archer just sucked to me in all aspects of combat he is inferior to the other two. I mean I had Tamomo doing more damage per melee hit than archer and I didnt even dump much into her strength like I did Archers.

Apparently when they meant this was going to be EXTRA's Heaven's Feel route, they weren't joking. It seems Gilgamesh will be one of the choosable servants you get in Fate EXTRA CCC (aside from the original three, of course).
_You probably know how much I LOVE this character just by my sarcasm in this update, but seriously, I think this is great.
Why?
Well, if he's choosable, then that means he WON'T be in the story of CCC if I choose to be with one of the three original servants. Yes! That's right! Our supposed "Heaven's Feel-type" alternate story will in fact have NO Mc.Golden Rapist this time around (unless there's someone else who wears gold and loves sexual abuse) and might even include a radically different Shinji!
Shinji is still a total asshole this time around, but as even Archer said in EXTRA, he's not like the original. Who knows how he'll be in CCC, though?

CCC is starting off on a fantastic note to me now. So much so I'm going to use an emoticon.

According to the wiki (which has had BS on it before), this is supposedly an alternate Gilgamesh to the vile bastard in Fate/Stay Night.
...Odd.

It's possible, considering the actual Gilgamesh from legend didn't end his tale as the raping, murdering, maniac manchild he started out as. He actually became a really good king and good man who treasured assuring a future for his people instead of searching for immortality.
Maybe... Maybe this Gilgamesh is more like the one in legend (post-character arc)? Maybe this Gilgamesh will be...a good guy?

Doubtful, considering Archer in EXTRA is the same(?) Archer from F/SN and considering Saber Extra Red references Saber Arturia, both cases meaning that even in this "parallel" universe the servants are still the same.

Who knows? We got a different take on Shinji, after all. Maybe we'll get a different take on Gilgamesh. I doubt it, but anything's possible.

OT: Fuck Gilgamesh I dislike him greatly his moves and abilities are cool and all but he is just such a dick. Top 3 most hated Fate Characters = Matou Zouken, Matou Shinji, and Gilgamesh.

Okay, to be very serious for a minute, I have no idea what Fate/HA is, but this sounds fantastic. You see, in his legend the gods found Gilgamesh to be way too much trouble despite him being mortal, so thy decided to send down someone who'd calm him down and get him to control himself: Enkidu.
_Once Enkidu became Gilgamesh's only friend, Gilgamesh was decidedly less of an utter vile asshole. He was still a bit of a prick, but not a monstrosity. Once Enkidu died, however, things changed again until the end of the story where Gilgamesh loses his shot at immortality and comes to terms with the fact that he will someday die despite being two parts god.

That's what I remember, anyway. The epic is really long, longer than the Count of Monte Cristo, which is so long I barely remember most of it aside from key moments.
Still, a more amiable but still slightly cocky Gilgamesh would be really great. It would be the next step he takes towards becoming the real Gilgamesh, who by the end of his story would be akin to a wiser and more people-concerned version of Fate/Zero's Rider.

...But I doubt it. Gilgamesh the Vile will likely be the same as people remember. I say that because he already made an pseudo-appearance in Fate/EXTRA.

If you talk to one of the masters by Sakura's nurse's office (the female master who talks about how hot her servant is), you can tell after a while that she's describing Gilgamesh and how she's just so enthralled by his dominating aura, his might, and his sexiness that she'll "deal with the abuse" (something like that).
_It's an interesting tid-bit, considering that master never makes it to the end. I wonder who was the servant that killed Gilgamesh one-on-one...
...Likely Gawain because of his ability. You know the one.

Oh! But I just got an idea, lordsparda! What if Gilgamesh acts like a vile bastard at first, but with you as his master he becomes the more amiable and good Gilgamesh you see in the fishing trip? Maybe you can be his metaphorical Enkidu, keeping him from going buckwild and helping to shape him into a better man.
...If that's the case, then I gotta say, that sounds really badass. I might even play with Gilgamesh if that's the kind of character development promised to us.

-Unless he's just written in as the "dark route" of the game, like with him as your servant you can be an utter monster like him and the both of you can go through the game dominating and screwing with people.

Now we're onto something. How's this:

The protagonist summons Gilgamesh, then has to choose to get him to cooperate normally or command him at certain times. To max out his matrix you need to help shape his personality into a better man via giving the right answers and refusing to allow him to go buck-wild, but can't use a command seal on him. By the end you metaphorically become his newfound Enkidu, an ally (or lover) who has helped temper him into a respectable and good individual who trusts you implicitly and renounces his former self, essentially acting more like that child version Gilgamesh you mentioned, if not just a wee bit more cocky.

Seriously, if that was the narrative Gilgamesh brought to the table as a servant in CCC, I'd be mind blown and eager to play it through with him. It'd be a lot more like his legend...kinda...and ultimately a story that involves the transformation of a wretched villain into an honorable hero is always as fantastic as it is difficult to pull off.

But, as excited as that idea got me, I'm still far too jaded about Nasu's version of Gilgamesh to hold out hope his route would have that kind of drastic and thematic character development. Not saying Nasu didn't try such a thing before, since clearly he did with what you said, but this just feels like a real "fan-sploitation" move for all the gals and guys who get steamed over the golden bastard as a golden bastard.
_I'll never understand how people can be interested in villains like Gilgamesh when they act like...well...like he does, but not be interested in the reformed and better versions of them.

I have yet to play Hollow Ataraxia since I am waiting for the full translation but I have read what it's mostly about and I still do t like Gilgamesh. Also since most don't consider F/HA to be canon I doubt they will use anything from there.
