That's not confirmed. The only thing that's confirmed is that, aside from Saber, Archer, and Caster returning for Fate/EXTRA CCC you'll also get to summon Gilgamesh.

As for how he will act and what kind of arc he will have, if he has one at all, well... The Japanese will see come this winter. News spreads fast, so we'll likely hear about the details on him then.



Yeah, but you also despise Fate/EXTRA Shinji because he's a Shinji, so that makes sense you'd feel that way. To be fair, I'd likely act the same way if I read deeper into Unlimited Blade Works, let alone sat through ALL of Heaven's Feel.

As for the canon argument: Is that true? I didn't even know that. Still, he did add in Arcuid and those two mages in the chapel into EXTRA, so canonical-fucking is par for the course when it comes to Nasu.

The big question is: If Gilgamesh actually did have a well written arc where you helped him renounce his vile self and become a better man and even a friend (or lover I guess), would you playthrough with Gilgamesh?
After Saber and Caster, of course.

I just dug around a bit and initially F/HA was not canon but after it was finalized by Nasu it was declared a sequel and thus became canon and Arcueid appearing in Fate/Extra makes sense considering:

1.) Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night take place in the same universe thus it is dubbed the Nasuverse.
2.) Arcueid is considered a phenomena so being able to pop between dimensions shouldn't be a big deal
3.) Her Fate/Extra wiki info changed saying its possible she is a replica.......I doubt that line though.

another interesting thought though is the moon cell generates Legendary spirits observed from the "past" which means Archer's life had already occurred in this world or, they pulled the parallel dimension thing again which would also compliment how Arcueid got there as well.

We already had a discussion about this once before but I forgot the conclusion we came to. I think I mentioned that this Archer is both literally an alternate Archer while being the same Archer from Fate/Stay Night, like in the EXTRA stories "Nameless" is somehow the pan-dimensional embodiment of two (maybe more?) Archers.

It's pretty outlandish, but considering his backstory in EXTRA and how knowledgable he is of alternate Grail Wars plus all of the F/SN references he makes, it's the only answer I could come up with.

And yeah, I believe what you said about Arcueid, too.

I just managed to finally get Caster's Matrix E ranked. Turns out all you really have to do is get a high score on the test she gives during the 4th round and ask her "What are you?" after the 5th round battle.

Anyone ever EX their servant's abilities? Going by the chart for Saber Extra Red I was way closer than I thought. I always stopped at A++ strength with her because she'd eventually say, "My blade is as strong as it should be."

I was going to EX Caster's magic, but after the 6th round fight I just lost all affection for a Caster playthrough. I forgot how damn hard the latter fights got!
Considering that, I guess I also forgot how insanely powerful Saber Extra Red is as a servant.

Since he's gonna be in Extra CCC: Who do you think would win in a dual, Gilgamesh or Saber Extra Red?
Remember, Saber Arturia rocked his ass fiercely, and she didn't have the ability to resurrect herself and preform a massively powerful attack that also created a reality marble with multiple effects.

Personally, and this is aside from my preference, I think thus far in all of EXTRA's given universe, Saber Extra Red is the strongest servant, with Caster coming a close second and Archer in third if only because I find him the hardest to use (though if Caster could fully manifest, looking at her abilities, she'd be utterly frightening).

As a Saber Extra Fanboy of course I have EX in all stats it quite literally took forever since at end game the exp drop isnt really that great past lvl 47

As i believe most of Fakkuers is Fate series lover, i have question here after i finished all the three servant for this game.

Arcueid which is Berserker in Rani route, is she really strong enough to fight Servant if Arcueid is on her full capabilities?

According to Caster at this Holy Grail battle, she is only restricted from using her full power. So does this means if she is able to use all her nine tails, she is going to be the most OP Servant here?

Hope that someone can helped with this as i have been confused with this question for quite a time lol.

I had fun in Fate/Extra... Seeing a different Saber, having a Moe Fox-demon as a Servant, Rushing through Dungeons armed with your Great Sequence-Guessing Powers and LUCK... Having heard (JUST NOW) that they are really gonna pull through with making a Western Release of the Sequel makes me all Fired up again to Finish the Game again for the third time...

Well, Preator up there can tell you more about Arcueid most likely, but I figure that since vampires are like supermen and Servants are like supermen, then things could be a pretty even battle...maybe.

As for Caster, it's pretty clear that if the protagonist was an experienced magus then she could've come through as a beastly strong servant, even stronger than she is now. Also keep in mind how famous she is in legend and literature, so factor that in and she's mind-blowing powerful...under the right magus.

Looking at Caster's abilities she's also capable of becoming one of the most malevolent Servants. If she was under the command of a powerful magus that somehow managed to manipulate or force her to throw out her inhibitions and they were in a classic Holy Grail War, she might've been able to just manipulate every enemy into committing suicide, regardless of their mental barriers. She also could've taken the form of anyone in the war and manipulated her way up the food chain that way by sparking paranoia even between masters and their servants. That's not even including her apparently natural ability to literally counter every action an enemy takes against her aside from Noble Phantasms. Her power is scary!
_If she had been in Fate/Stay Night, I have no doubt she would've been able to easily dispatch almost all of the servants. That is, if she didn't limit her abilities and was alright with being deviously evil.

However, due to her desire to not be evil, she limits herself by not using such abilities and staying true to a purer side of herself. It's why her strength is technically in how defensive her magic is. She really loves being a good individual, and the good often wait for someone else to swing the first blow before getting into a fight because they aren't looking to hurt anyone. It's thematic.


Basically: Of the entire Fate series, EXTRA Caster is one of the strongest servants currently known. If Caster was able to be summoned to her full capabilities from the get-go, able to have all nine tails, and didn't limit her crueler side, she would be one a contender for "strongest servant" in the whole series.



...Wow. Well, I guess that means that, under you as a master, Saber Extra Red is the strongest servant in existence.
I'd love to see your Saber destroy Gilgamesh. With that kind of power, her NP would do more than just wreck Gilgamesh's shit like it normally would under your average master. It would utterly destroy him!
Matter of fact, let's just round up all the vile characters in the Fate series, line them up one after another, and have you command Saber Extra Red to just obliterate them all. I think it'd be fun. I'm sure she'd get a kick out of it, too.

Where did you hear they were making a Western release of the sequel? So far no one knows if Aksys Games is going to localize it here (though there is a good chance it can happen).

Ohhh it means that my prediction is not wrong here.^^ And before this series, i thought "Caster" is the worst class u can get in Holy Grail War lol.

Hell even Caster(Nursery Rhyme) looks strong in this game even though all her status is E but her NP seems OP enough for me.

Though I began replaying Fate/Extra, I'm a gonna buy the sequel: limited edition when it first comes out... then play it a few months later, after I beat my long list of games.
