Fate CCC for the WIN!!! Caster is gonna be my 1st pick~~~ I played through the game twice with every servant in the original Japanese release and replayed it in English, not 100% convinced that it was a correct trans but it was quite good. I'm a bit sad that the seaweed joke didn't get translated over though....

BTW, MegaTenLove. I think you have the wrong idea about Caster. Caster is supposed to be as strong as she is in EXTRA. She was summoned as a Servant. It was mentioned that if she was summoned as a EVIL SPIRIT, she would obliterate all the Servants but if she was summoned as a Servant/Heroic Spirit, then her powers are limited. This is a fact. I think you might have misunderstood her materials a bit....

But, I would like to see her that strong though. If she was summoned in F/SN as a Servant, she would have been able to display more of her powers but it would still be very much limited. She would not be able to raise a dead army for instance(possible if she was an Evil Spirit).

Ah, if that's the case then thanks for the correction. How the hell would you control an evil spirit, though? See, I was thinking of the hypothetical situation of Caster being turned evil by a manipulative master. Servants at least have rules binding them to their masters...mostly. Could anyone even control an evil spirit?

Either way, Servant or Evil Spirit, I'm sure Caster could've and would've beaten the ever loving shit out of F/SN's caster, which is an image that brings me joy to no end.

Also: Since the main antagonist's servant was Gawain in EXTRA, I'm gonna call it right now: The primary antagonist's servant in EXTRA CCC is Merlin Alter.

How wicked and terrifying would THAT be?

I don't think we can compare Caster of F/SN to Caster of EXTRA. They both have their strong point so it depends on the battle situation. Perhaps in a direct fight, Medea would lose easily but she is more cunning than she looks.

I'm waiting for another surprise from Nasu about the evil villain of EXTRA CCC. I know he won't disappoint!

For Arcueid to be released of her constraints and fight at 100% power she is near impossible to beat even more so on the night of a full moon. Thus I say no at full power a servant would not be a match for her.

this isn't even taking into account her subconscious awakening as Archetype Earth....but let me explain the concept behind 'Types'(Aristoteles).

In Notes the short story written by Nasu before founding Type-Moon it introduces beings known as 'Types' they are the strongest creatures of each planet and some believe they are the embodiment of that planets will. The only known weapon to brings down a 'Type' is the Black Barrel.

As to comparing Servants from Extra to Stay Night......not very accurate results since half the servants were weakened in Stay Night due to prana constraints and improper summonings, etc.

MegaTen we are on the same wavelength about Merlin I have been saying for the longest time I would like to see Servant Caster Merlinus Ambrosia. Oh and thanks for the compliments about Nero.

Hmm if they mention that Arcueid is that strong, don't Arcueid had the skills to destroy Shiki with ease? or that is just plot armor?

And when i read Arcueid bio on the game, it is mention that Arcueid will have a good relation with Caster due to both of them having the same nature? Does this mean Tamama and Arcueid is kinda related?

Arcueid can easily crush Shiki but at the time she was suppressing her powers to a mere 30% and she was caught off guard because a mere human with a knife shouldn't have even been able to harm her she was more focused on her search for Chaos. Granted there may have been a bit of plot armor involved as well.

And no Arcueid and Tamomo are not related by any means other than the fact that both of them can be considered disastrous phenomenon when they are in their true forms, and I guess they do share a few common points in their personalities.

Aside from the screen shots and the apparent frankness Nasu has with Marvelous, I just have to ask: Is this guy really like this?
I mean, I know this was translated by some guy on a forum so I don't know how much of himself he put into the translation, but if it is a direct word-for-word translation... Nasu is a lot more personable than I imagined.

I kind of like Nasu a lot more now. I really dig creators with amicable and down-to-earth personalities. George R.R. Martin and Hideyuki Kikuchi (my favorite author of all time) are like this too. Well, not with all the "lol" bits, but personable, I mean.

I really wish instead of adding another Archer Class servant that they gave us a completely new character.....then again no one said Gilgamesh was restricted to the Archer class he technically qualifies for all classes to bad he is a jack of all trades master of none.

Nasu being like that honestly doesnt surprise me in the least. I mean it takes quite a mind to come up with a universe as in depth and complex as the Nasuverse

So I was reading up on it and we had discussed before if Sakura's voice actor was the anime one or not and sure enough even the look a like is voiced by Noriko Shitaya.

So Type-Moon seems to have alot on there plate right now they are currently working on Mahoyo's sequel, as well as the Tsukihime remake, and of course Fate/Extra CCC. In addition to having an anime for Girls Work and Fate/ Kalied Liner Prisma Illya in the works.

From what anime was Aura?. My other Fave female VA is Romi Park(Leo Harway),
too bad Leo only had a few voiced lines in the game.

BTW: I've been thinking , have you ever wondered why archer still recalls events on the 5th grail war? here's what i think(and i think some of you also thought of this):
Since Archer(emiya) isn't like normal servants that cam from the past, he was summoned from the future via Rin's pendant as catalyst, thus if the mooncell was recording those events, it seen the 5th grail war as the 1st time Archer existed in that world and thus recorded him as a separate entity as Shiro.

And as for Archer he is a counter guardian, by giving himself to the planet he became a 'hero' and is constantly summoned in times of crisis so technically he can be summoned any number of times the 5th Holy Grail war is just the only one we know of. In addition who is to say this isn't in the future and Archer Emiya already existed and moved on.

Oh btw way MegaTen I just started playing the Persona series from game 1...does it get any better because thus far its....ok, but kind of gets old after a bit.
