Fire Emblem Awakening.

[color=#006FFF]Crom sounds a whole lot like Nolan North and Troy Baker. I wonder if either of them is responsible for his voicing; either way, I do like the English voices so far. Especially Lissa's since I've grown tired of the typical high pitched girl voice that the Japanese give all little sisters.
I do think it's pretty nice that it'll be dual audio though. Best of both worlds with that.

Came out in the US today, there was a shipping delay though, alot of areas wont be getting it in stores for another few days, i bought it on the eShop and downloaded it because i couldnt wait any longer, loving the game so far.

It seems none of the stores around where I live have the game by itself. GameStop only has the bundle and I don't have enough money for that. I guess I'm going to have to buy some 3DS prepaid cards at Wal-Mart and use that to buy it from the eShop.

The only reason I didnt get the bundle was because I want a physical copy. My gamestop didnt have it, they said around wednesday-friday they will get the shipment. Oh well, I can wait I guess.

Usually amazon gets games to you the day it comes out, but not this time apparently. I have to wait until Wednesday for my copy to show up.

So it finally got done downloading. I think it took about an hour to download. I haven't played a game in the Fire Emblem series before but the demo was pretty fun. Is there anything I should know going in. I started on Normal-Casual.

Is there anything I should know going in. I started on Normal-Casual.The entire game is all about positioning. If you can position yourself to get an advantage in battle and protect the squishies you should be fine. You are playing casual (i don't really like this option but we know why its there) so you do not have to worry about people dying and being dead forever. So the game you are playing should be relatively easy once you understand all of the mechanics.

I'm gonna buy this soon, and do a perma-death run.
*If you don't already know, you can turn off perma-death in this version*
Perma-death makes any game more intense, why would I choose to turn it off?

Agreed, casual mode is lame. Playing hard mode perma death right now, enemies like to team up and target one unit and kill them... ive had to reload alot of times.
I've played for about 15 hours since i got it yesterday, this game is addicting as hell.

So I've been playing since yesterday and apparently my character hooked up with/proposed to Sully (the foul-mouthed, calvary lady).

It just happened. I wish I had that kind of luck with the ladies in real life.

Just in case no one has gotten their pre-order. Just call and tell them you got a pre-order pick up and ask if it came in, the gamestop near me had their pre-order copies but no other copies.

No there is a way. The staff Hammerne restores the targets equipped weapon to full condition. There is only one each game and it only has 3 uses usually.
