So I've been working on a team.
Sentinel, Haggar, and Morrigan.
I've been doing pretty well with it online.
I still need to learn Haggar properly because I don't know what to do if they just stand around and block my pipe.
I should use Hoodlum launcher more often. x-x

My main is Akuma, Wesker, Ryu haven't lost with them so far... Raging Demon is just so OP when used correctly.

Yeah, Akuma's RD can counter 99% of other hyper comboes. Even when RD is casted later there are very few hypercomboes that can counter it. The only real way to counter it is to let it hit you while being invincible (attainable using some special features of hyper comboes) which will trigger him to stop his temporary invincibility. The only characters I know that can do this is Morrigan and Viewtiful Joe. Other characters will just get raped after trying to counter it.
Another thing is that it's unblockable, sure Wesker's level 3 does equal if not more damage but anyone can easily block it by simply pressing the "back" button unless it was used as a part of a combo but RD doesn't give you that option so it's either fly or die.

If the enemy is fast (And the akuma-user stupid), doing this is actually simple... just jump the moment, thew animation starts... fight a smart akuma-user and just... die...
Oh, and the difference with Wesker's Hyper to Akuma is that wesker can put it into a combo while Akuma can only put it in a set up (A stupid one)

And Raging Demon is rather easy to dodge if not used at point blank. Even then, the animation will give you time to jump, and if you're even in the air a little bit, it won't work. I found that out when an opponent used Raging Demon while I was falling down. I was still in the air and just jabbed him. It's the most powerful Level 3 Super, but it'll be extremely hard to land, especially on better players.

Make a character weaker because people are too stupid to fight him, and remove an impractical infinite because it exists (though im sure people complained about it too)
Yet dark phoenix is still able to do an effortless 50% in block damage from one meter, and x-factor as a whole remains untouched and just as stupid as ever

...Although I would've preferred his damage to be nerfed instead of his life...
...oh, and I still think Dark Pheonix should have her speed down too >:(... Not that I CAN'T beat her, mind you; 15Wins/5Lose against that darn girl :)

If they did that you'd have to change the name from rocket punch to rocket tickle....sentinel is slow, easy to pressure, and amazingly easy to air combo cause he is so freaking massive...also like half of the cast can take him out with little to no effort once you figure him out a lil...people just didn't like him cause they had trouble with:
A.projectile spam
B.don't know how advance guard/block PERIOD
C.butt-hurt cause of his high damage output

I guess... But one big mistake and a good Senti player can chop a block on the lifebar >_< I guess now, it's "Whoever hits first wins" with Sentinel...

X-factor (let's just call it xf) is something MvC3 came up to spice up the game; I like it IMO. TO beat someone in xf, use xf. Like the saying goes, fight fire with fire...
Oh, and I think everyone here knows that xf is at the strongest when the player only has one character left. so, let's say player1 has 3 characters while player2 has only 1 left; if player 2 uses x-factor, his damage will be so high, it won't be a surprise if he beats player1 with that single character... provided that player1 no longer has xf if player1 still has xf, then a smart thing for him to do is try to defeat that char with xf. If his two characters are beatn, then let he last one use the xf, thus, equalizing the match... then again, it won't be so equal since the life of the player2 would be down by this stage (Unless he's really good) and his xf meter already reduced. on the other hand, if player1 has about 3-5 hypers, he could try his luck to hyper-xf_cancel-hyper-switch_hyper-switch_hyper. Of course, the first hyper should connect before canceling to xf. once the first hyper connects, doing the rest is pretty simple. and once you do this, killing the last char of player2 with xf won't be so tough...
In other words, xf can be used depending on the playstyle of the player. in my case, is save about 4-5 hypers for the last charatcher. when he goes xf, i try my best to land a combo, then i go for a hyper combo, cancel with xf, go for another hyper... meh, you know the rest... Of course, if I fail to do this and get 2 of my characters mauled, I just use xf on the last char... simple as that...
