Marvel vs Capcom 3

Fuck MVC3! Everybody! Lets go back to MVC2. At least it has cyclopes,Gambit, and MEGAMAN! Oh wait and Jill and that tentical rape monster FOR FREE!

I'm with everyone else when it comes to being on the fence. I really don't see how this can be considered ok. MK9 does free patches and makes it where you can download the characters instead of forcing you to buy them. SSF4 was a good expansion on sf4 since there was so much content. But with marvel the thing that have been stated why its such a slap in the face. I love mvc but I don't like how capcom is doing this.

They said it was because of the Tohoku tsunami.


I still don't get the logic behind this decision. If things were in bad conditions why do they have to rush the development and the release it in a disc?

This is obviously different when they released SSFIV, since it was 2 years from the original and they said the content was too big for a DLC.

That's regretable, as Hawkeye's actually quite the badass if you read the comics. Looking back, quite a few people originally thought similar things about Deadpool and Taskmaster. They'd see them for the first time and probably think something along the lines of, "Oh look! Ninja Spiderman and a Skeletor ripoff, they probably suck." Granted, those two got far less exposure than anyone else on the Marvel roster, but anyone who's actually familiar with them will know how truly awesome they are.

Here's a better idea. Since you're just going to complain about the people kicking your ass on MvC2 even worse than you've ever experienced on any other fighting game, why don't you just download MUGEN onto your computer for free, build your own character roster, set it easy mode, and stop your whining. That way, you can play a fairly decent fighting game, for free, with characters of your choosing from virtually any media source, against a CPU that can be adjusted to different difficulties, and if you still have any complaints, you can do it on a thread that none of us care about. I'm going back to drinking my beer. Cheers.

New Nemesis and Dr. Strange gameplay trailers have been released for UMvsC3...and I'm now speechless on how they made the two look so good!






Can't wait to see how Phoenix will play...and when Vergil's trailer is shown, I'll be fapping to it non-stop until the game comes out.

More than the game itself, I'm looking forward to seeing how grossly Capcom messes up the power grid stats again. Chun-li can move faster than the speed of light; Haggar can lift planets and is more resilient to damage than the Hulk; Tron Bonne and Wesker more intelligent than Dr. Doom, MODOK, and Dormammu; and Ryu is a master of all forms of combat and a master of all forms of energy.

EDIT: holy shit Nemesis is slightly less brutal than I imagined him, but still amazing. Disappointed in Strange's moveset, given what he could do, instead.

EDIT2: While I'm not interested in getting UMvC3, it's worth more its monetary value solely for the characters. While I have gripes that I have to pay more money for characters I'm certainly not interested in, and I'm against Capcom not just patching the game for balance (because, when it comes down to it, it's certainly possible and feasible to patch the balances in; it's just Capcom being lazy), I still found this image quite apt for the current situation.

Why do you care? I can complain on whatever i want. I play VG's for fun but sure i get mad when people don't play fair. I'm not into the whole serious competition thing like most of you guys are.

No, see, the thing is, you always complain, even after being just given some friendly advice on how to get around your problems. At first, it was understandable and somewhat agreeable, you were frustrated by people taking advantage of certain elements in the game. We could relate to that. But now, it's gotten just plain annoying, if not more than a little asinine. Don't get me wrong, you're entitled to your right to free speech, but at this point in time, you're no longer contributing anything to the thread, let alone putting much thought into your posts. Stop getting caught up on such trifling matters and go back to having fun.

the only thing that is unfair in the world of fighting games, is when people can hack the game and get infinite health or one-hit-kill. Now that's Unfair.

Dirty Tricks/spammings are strategies that are frowned-upon, but it's still a legit strategy.

A win is a win. Spammers still piss me off just not as much. I just practice to get around that.

Nemesis vs Sentinel looks like it'll be a lot of fun.

It appears Nemesis will have some armor for his moves. I can't wait to see how the Iron Fist and Phoenix Wright will play like. It also looks like my team overall has been buffed.

There are no such things as dirty tricks, only tricks. Spamming also only occurs in low level play.

Hulk/Sent/Nemesis will reign supreme, search your feelings you know it to be true xD

I'm actually really interested in seeing how Strange would work, he seems to be an all-around type so I'd probably give him a shot.

Dr. Strange seems to be a combination of Dormammu, Phoenix, and Magneto. I can see him possibly being top tier.

I was kind of expecting that when I first heard that Dr. Strange was announced. I mean, let's face it, the guy's not renowned for his fist-fighting skills.

Well, of course. He's not the master of the Arcane Arts for nothing. :3

Someone mentioned this on a youtube video but it kinda makes sense. Dr. Strange is more like a better version of M.O.D.O.K
